OOC Karen: -Nervous laughter, shifty looks-

She sits curled up on the couch, a book in her lap. It's one of those rare quiet moments where Anthony and Hazel are out; they've gone out shopping.

Ic I'm in front of the house staring... Maybe this.wasnt a good idea... I was going to be blunt the whole te with her

-I arrive next to Liria- "You have to do this. Say what's on your mind."

Alright....maybe you shouldn't be there then....

I say as we approach the door

-I shake my head- "No, no more distance."

I knock the door

She folds over the corner of the page and drops the book on the couch before walking up to the door. Whistling to herself, she opens it. "Artemis!" She smiles. "And you... you're Liria, if I'm not mistaken?"

Yes.... I am liria.... Artemis"s fiancé" i.say with.a hint of coolness

"Yes, she wanted to talk to you..."

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Karen smiles and nods. "That's fine with me. Please, come in." Just like before, she heads into the kitchen to arrange drinks and so they can use the kitchen table.

Mrs................. Flame. I came here only to meet you and return your possessions. I have about zero.patience for just about everybody meaning I'm gping to be blunt and to the point.

-I brace myself but I know I must hear this-

"Oh... ok." She turns to face them again.

"okay then...." I take out a box inside containing a sapphire bracelet. "Artemis.gave me this for my birthday." I take off my wedding ring " Artemis gave me this when he.asked me to marry him...its yours too"

Her eyes are wide and shocked. "I can't take them. They're yours. Please keep them. They're gifts from Artemis to you, I wouldn't feel... right taking them." She keeps her hands by her sides.

Ooc ouch time.

Ic and Ooc -I wince at her words-

Karen winces, but her hands remain where they are. "I don't want them because I knew that although I'd tainted them, somewhen they'd be pure again. You and Artemis made it possible."

Ic No. You left your family for some guy. I mean.. Did you even love your sons...? Dont answer.that. Because the truth is you didn't and.i dont care if you say differently. I use to.feel the MOST guilty about hpw I brought you to your death... THEN I find out you've been here the whole.time.and so lets.see....that makes you aR and a CHEATEr...

Her temper flares for a moment before she calms. "Anthony isn't just some guy. And I do love my sons. Liria, you are in love with Artemis, correct? Then surely you know how it feels to be in love?"

She pauses. "I loved Artemis's father... but over time I didn't feel it anymore. I regret cheating on him more than either of you will ever know, but like I told Artemis and Phoenix, I can't bring myself to regret having my daughters. I'll admit I was a coward. I didn't want to be a Strayer so I 'died'. But I won't lie about loving my sons. I do love them."

"You and Artemis can replace the memories connect with the ring and the bracelet with your own. I understand that you don't like me very much right now, but I've offered to be a mother to Artemis, Crest and Artisan again, if they'll have me. Isn't that proof enough that I still love them?"

-I let them get it all out, it'll be better in the long run-

Without thinking about it "Nope. There isn't an excuse and there never will be.so dont bother trying to make me see things your way. It wont work"

She sighs. "I have my reasons for what I did, and I won't go back on them now. Don't blame Anthony, Phoenix or Hazel for what happened though... I accept that it's all my fault."
