IC: She smiles. "No problem, dear."

You know... Hazel must've heard about your last name from the Death Eaters here...

She nods, her smile disappearing. "I'll explain to her later. I don't think I can keep it from her anymore."

-I nod my head in understanding- Very well... I'd like to be here for that if you didn't mind

Karen: "If you wish..."

Anthony & Hazel: The sounds of their banter can be heard from the hallway.

I think it's right... she should know...

Karen: "I know. She deserves to know."

Hazel: She trots in behind her father. "To know what?"

Karen: She glances at Anthony and Artemis before settling her gaze on Hazel. "About where I come from."

-I sit down with them and let Karen explain-

Karen: She explains about the Strayers and why she left them. (OOC: Couldn't be bothered to write it out :L)

Hazel: She listens silently, and when her mother finishes she cocks her head to the side. "Why didn't you ever tell me?"

Karen: "... I never..." She sighs. "I don't know, to be honest."

-I walk over to Hazel- It's a difficult thing for a child to understand, and even harder still for an adult to talk about to her child

Hazel: She doesn't look very fazed. She looks up at Artemis, frowning slightly. "So... you're my brother?"

Karen: "That's right."

Hazel: Surprising both of her parents, she smiles. "Sweet. I love the twins and all, but I always wanted a brother."

-I smile at Hazel- Half brother technically, but I'll try to be a good one..

Hazel: She shrugs, still grinning. "Half brother, full brother, what's the difference? Still a brother in my books."

Anthony: He shakes his head in amazement.

-I can't help but smile quietly at this-

Hazel: "I can't wait to tell..." She hurries up the stairs to find her diary.

Karen: She laughs, sounding relieved. "That went better than I expected."

She took it a LOT better than I did, I'll tell you that

Anthony: "Nothing much can upset Hazel. She's always happy." He laughs.

-I smile- She's a good kid it seems.

Anthony: He nods, chuckling a little. "Her and Phoenix are like chalk and cheese most of the time, but they're more similar than they'll admit sometimes."

Well I'm happy she knows... thank you for letting me stay here a bit...

Karen: "It's no problem. Our home is your home." She smiles. "You're always welcome here."
