'I dont know....ive been in Mungos most of the time...'

He put a hand on her shoulder, concern flitting on his face. 'Are you alright?' He was genuinely worried about her.

'Tecnically, Im fine now...But i wasnt.'

'Can i ask what happened?'

'I got this rare illness which....first it took my  magic, then it took my memories, who i was...im still slowly getting everything back.'

'Then it's good you still remember me then.' He opened up his arms, offering a friendly hug. 'i couldn't imagine you being anyone but the person you are now.'

i shake my head. 'dont say that. I know...i know what i have been like. I know i have betrayed so many people I love...you....Arty...'

'It's okay, River. It was a long time ago, and you betrayed me for your brother and I can't ever hold it against you. Isn't it time we put the past behind us?' He offered, knowing that the situation had to be different now.

'But wwhat if i just do it again?' I whisper

For a moment, Bryn was conflicted. He knew he should answer in the way that benefited more people than just her, to tell her she was wrong and that she should always do the seemingly right thing. But he knew problems weren't that simple, and that he shouldn't play God.

'Then I'll forgive you, again. If you're happy with your husband and brother then who am I to tell you what to do? You could be the worst person in the world, but if being the greatest saint of all time would make you unhappy then I'd never want you to become one.'

It was probably logic that would end up getting him killed, but he didn't care.

'Thank you.' I say softly, smiling at him.

He grinned at her in response. 'What did you expect me to say, that I would hate you for as long as I lived?'

I shrug 'I have ruined so many things with the choices i have made....i expect everyone to hate me for it.'

'I won't be one of those people. I don't think I could be unless you hurt one of my sisters.' He admitted freely, knowing his limits. 'I'm surprised you've forgiven me all the aggravation I caused you and your brother.'

It wasn't something most people would apologize for, but he felt it was necessary

'You think so? I've probably almost killed him enough times...' He mumbled, shaking his head vigorously.

'If i hted everyone who has ever tried to kill him....I would hate pretty much everyone i know.'

Bryn laughed a little, before sighing to himself. 'I guess you have a point. I'm hoping this time around I won't have to hurt anyone.'

'its unliely. theres so few people left..'

'What do you mean? Has everyone abandoned Hogwarts?' Peering around, he guressed that would make sense.

I shrug. 'People have just...moved on, i guess.'

'Of course...' He should have expected this really, but the revelation still hurt him. Either way, he was determined to stay to finish his education, he'd made Ace and Meredia promise they would too. 

'It doesn't feel right, being here when I know nobody else will be.' He admitted. 'Maybe I just hate change.'

'You can always go and visit everyone else...Im sure most of them wont mind.'

'I don't know where they are....' He tailed off, before scribbling some words down onto parchment. 'Who would I go see, My family? Like they'd want to still communicate with me.' He was referring to Krystal.

'Why wouldnt they want to talk to you?'
