Pitch cackled cruelly as he watched Joa turn to leave. The Boogeyman vanished, and in the instant he did, Cynder began to shift in discomfort as a nightmare began.

He walked into the great hall. It'd been forever since he left the safety of the Slytherin common room. He didn't want to see or talk to anyone period for a long time.

Crouch approached him with his grin forever plastered onto his face. A student made the misfortune of stepping in front of him and he knocked him against the wall with his wand.

He went up to Death with a aura of maliciousness coursing through him, as though all sparks of any good River had rekindled was dead and gone.

"Hello Death..."

He had hoped to avoid all human contact, but the world just seemed to like laughing in his face. He sighed and turned to face his brother-in-law. "Hello Crouch."

"I hope you're ready for a good ole time..." He said happily, as though excited for a long awaited event.

"And what is it you had planned Crouch? Muggle hunting?"

'Well, no actually, but I'll add that to the list for later."

"Then what?" He casually flicked dust and pieces of thread off of his cloak.

"I think things have been impossibly... boring around here. We need to do something about."

His grin widened if such was possible, "Like... holding the houses hostage for example?"

He sneered and shook his head. "No. Too much work and it'd be the two of us against all of Hogwarts. That won't go over easy."

"Oh but I've thought it through you see...."

He sighed again. "Oh boy..." he muttered. "What's your grand plan then?"

I'm eating in the great hall, just like an ordinary student.

Topher stepped in absolutely starving from his little adventure with heather, "hey this seat taken?" He asked one of the men there he didn't know

I shake my head, "No, dude, go ahead!"  I give a friendly smile.

"Thanks man." He took a seat, "how's life?"

"Can't complain! Not much is really going on in my life.  What about you?"

Well I got held by a crazy ass doctor for starters...

"Not a lot""

I chuckle a little, "I tell people this is a nice place and most of the responses I get are 'You must've haven't met the Death Eaters.'"

"I take it you haven't been round here long?"

"Yeah, not long at all... Just a couple of weeks."

"Well welcome here then!"
