OOC lol can't help it, I'm a sucker for tragedy

After the impromptu funeral I return to Ged's side to see what was to be done about the girl.

"Do you expect she'll recover?"

(( I'm already sad because of Return of the King and now this and then even more sad stuff on Tumblr. Does the world want me to cry? ))

The Shapeshifter gave a small nod, as he went through his cape pocket for herbs or something to help soothe her injuries and bad sleep.

"I believe she will be fine. Though these damned bites and scratches will scar, and she is having trouble sleeping for now, it's nothing a little magic cannot heal over time."

"That's a relief at least."

"Come let us get our forces together, vanquish this threat forever."

Gladamier nodded firmly, finishing up his spell, to which Daisy relaxed in the cot she slept on.

"Yes. Let us wage war against the dark one. I look forward to fighting with you again, old friend."

"Yes, it shall be like when we were young again..." I smirk at him boyishly, "Ged and Enzo against the world, wasn't it?"

The scarred face of the older man seemed to copy the look of boyish mischief that the thought Enzo put in his head grew.
A warm memory, one of happier times.

"Oh, I miss such times! We were so much younger then. Funny how the Ministry wishes for both our skins, now? We were never much different from one another."

"Yes... quite similar indeed. If memory serves, you were the first one I divulged the secret of my eyes to."

"I believe you are right, my friend. You were the first to know of my true form, too, were you not?"

A smile, a sigh of remembrance.
"If only times were then again."

Ever the realist, I bring us back to the task at hand, "But they are not. So we must do what we have to. And I believe I know the best place to begin."

"My daughter's house."

The old shapeshifter perked up a bit at the thought, and he gave a small scowl.
"Your daughter's house? Ah, yes, I think I remember her. She will welcome a party of sick, then?"

"You're more likely to get a friendlier reception than me. Especially given the events of recent."

"There was nothing you could do.."

Ged's voice was assuring and soft, and he shook his head slightly.
"She will understand, and know that we are finding our ways to solve the problem."

"I hope she still lives in London.."

The shapeshifter gave a troubled look before looking to his old friend, a weak look of amusement playing over his face.
"I'm sure we'll find out, then, won't we?"

"Yes, I just hope she's forgiving..." I dispparate on spot, praying to every god I had previously denied in favor of myself.

Ged disapparated right behind his friend, his own thoughts swirling and confused.
And, admittedly, scared.

I never imagined a family reunion would take place here. All we need now is the eloper Mael and it will be complete.

Of course Ged was an unexpected bonus as was Cynder.

Ged carried Cynder. The girl was frail looking, and she had well worn herself to pure tears.

She merely kept her face in her uncle's shoulder, shoulders quivering.
Pitch did not leave much to the imagination.

Arriving with Ged was a fuming Enzo and a crying Agatha.

Enzo: "He shall pay with his life for this transgression!"

Agatha: "Father, vengeance won't stop this!"

Ged, inside, was boiling with rage. But he kept a calm air about him, still holding tight to the terrified girl who had been ravaged and hurt.

"Your daughter is right, Boniface. Vengeance will only get us worse.."

"Vengeance shall put him into nonexistence! Where he so rightfully belongs!!!" I exclaim in a volume that shakes the crystal around us.

Cynder clearly whimpered, at the raise in Enzo's voice.
Clearly a shout was nothing so wonderful to her any longer.


Ged growled, scar gleaming with frustration.
"My friend, we do not know what he is fully capable of! He could easily rat out that bluff of yours, reclaim them! And you're willing to go for a shot at revenge?"

"Not all of what I said was a lie. The mass hypnosis was a falsehood, but this place truly does focus my powers, makes them stronger."

"We need to find a way to strike him from here."

"And you expect him to return here...?"

Ged gave a long sigh and shook his head, closing his eyes to calm himself.
"I understand, we must take action as soon as we can. But for now, we have these two to focus on. Your grandson is wounded- we should look to that first."

"No, he's too clever to return here... I should've crushed him when he was at his weakest!"

"But you are right about that... let us focus on Christopher first." I reach out to pick him up, but Agatha slaps my hand away and picks him up herself.

Agatha: "I still remember my way around." I start carrying him into the other room.
