Early Years

The time was decades before Lukas had even considered going to Hogwarts, and he was skulking the streets of Hogsmede, wondering how to boost his growing power.

It's been too long, I'm becoming weak, they'll all laugh at me. He seemed insecure, wary of most steps he took.

Nobody would ever take such a weakling seriously.

Stone faced and young, Progenitor Strayer, having finished the code by which to base the ultimate justice now lacked but a single component.

Power. If the family is to succeed in it's mission, we must prove to be stronger than anyone else. Why I seek this power in Hogsmeade of all places is a mystery but I've always trusted my instinct.

With eyes of sharpness that could make even a hawk's feel inadequate, I notice both the sudden attention and the sparks.

Not to mention the eye pigmentation.

"Speak, kitsune."

'Well spotted.' he noted almost instantly, stepping forth from the shadows and clasping his hands behind his back. 'Most people assume I have an affinity for fire only..'

Lukas let a tiny smirk cross his lips, the predeccessor of one that would be on his face for years to come.

'You also desire something, otherwise you wouldn't have paid much mind to me.'

"Well spotted." I reply in sport.

'What the hell do you want then? I'm a fox spirit, not a mind reader.' he rolled his eyes, showing more temperament than he did in the present day.

Unaffected by the childish outburst, I continue. "Simply put, the means to create a dynasty of justice and honor."

'You want power.' he concluded, considering. 'Lucky for you, I can give that shit out like free samples. What sort of power would you like?'

"Power that can overwhelm all opponents. Power that can bring any foe to their knees in penitence (I love that word). That strikes swift and true."

'Human magic style..' he murmured, thinking. 'Do you have an entity for this power?'

"As luck would have it I do. It is a template for this dynasty."

'So..you want to make it like a wizard?' Lukas wasn't going to make it all-powerful, that would just be idiotic.

"Not just any run-of-the-mill wizard. An exceptional one"

'I can bestow it great magical ability, but nothing indestructible...' he continued watching Progenitor, basically telling him he wasn't making something invincible, no kitsune would.

ooc that would mean if Lukas's contract broke with Crest, Artemis would lose all magical ability..

it's probably a good thing for Artemis that Lukas is a lazy villain, or he'd be royally screwed.
Obviously it would break if Lukas died..

ic 'I also assume you have some means of instilling life into this body? power won't sustain it alone, it never has and never will.'

ic 'In return... I would like a stake in this creation, since I will be bound to it. If i die, it will lose it's exceptional magical ability. Basically, a degree of control over it.' he announced the terms clearly to make sure there wasn't any confusion.

ooc that was the terms Lukas agreed before, right? (Apart from with Crest he made it more extreme)

'By extension, this magic I bestow can't affect me. That is all I will ask of you.' he declared again, keeping it concise.

ooc basically if Artemis Stupefy's him it will probably work, but a true speed thing wouldn't.

My second contract, this should be fun..

'Of course, just sign the dotted lines.' he waved his fingers, revealing the parchment and documentation that would bind Artemis's magic to Lukas's life.

'Even if the parchment is destroyed, the contract still exists until I die, or the subject dies.'
