"Yes my lord..." I call to the others...

"Stop it now, creature of darkness...!"
Ged's voice was angry, though there was fear.


Fear. Pleasant fear.
Pitch inhaled it deeply, throwing back his head, eyes rolling in the pleasure of it.
From a shapeshifter, it was potent, intoxicating.

As others, all poisoned from the soul by the fearlings, began to show up, the Nightmare King laughed.
"Come on, Enzo. Just a slice of the world. That is all I want."

"No more words!" I take a mad sprint towards Pitch, not scared at all.

The Nightmare King flinched backwards, a cloud of black Nightmare sand surrounding the girl in front of him, as he shoved her forward, toward Topher.

The girl looked crazed, as the fearlings took silent orders from their master.
She gave an inhuman sound, snarling as she lunged after Topher.

Ged would have fired, if it wasn't for the other boy in the way. His gun flashed to the taller being, who again fell to the protection of a child.
"Tut tut... temper, temper."

Topher: Wrestling with the girl-turned-demon, I consider my options here. Obvious choice is to fight her, but if I can somehow wake her up...

"Daisy..."

Enzo: "My grandson can handle her, Ged. Let's focus on the monster."

For a moment, Daisy's pinpoint pupils dilated, brown eyes flashing a hint of recognition.

They quickly darkened again, and she once more snarled.
"He calls you Christopher Noir, of one point? My master tells me you are threatening his existence! Stand down, or I will not be afraid to harm you!"



When addressed, Ged nodded. It was good to fight with an old friend.
His gun was pointed, aimed right between Pitch's eyes, as soon as Enzo told him to focus on the man.

"Give up, Dark one-"

"Oh come now, really."

Topher: "Actually it's Topher... and you're Daisy! Don't be drone to this bastard!"

Enzo: "Time you learnt the wrath of the evil eyes..." A funnel of clear energy erupted from my eyes and encircled Pitch.

OOC Oh here we go! Evil eyes at full strength! Always wanted to write this!

Also, if you could pm me and explain just what might occur with Pitch with the effect of the Evil eyes? I know we did talk about outcomes about this, right? Sorry, shitty memory. ))

"Daisy? That's who I was! I'm a new person now! The Fearling princess!"
The girl spat at Topher, her saliva tinted a black color, to match with her popping veins, her blotchy bruises and bite marks.
He really had abused her, it was clear.


Pitch, on the other hand, was not so defiant.
His eyes widened suddenly, and he backed up.
"N-no..!"
Oh stars, not this-
"Enzo, aahaha... friend! Rethink this, now-!"

Topher: "It's obvious he ain't good for you! Help us take him down!"

Enzo: "What should I allow fate to befall you, to drown in light? Be crushed by stone? So many choices and yet none I can think of are good enough..."

"I will not turn against him!"

Daisy's voice was raised to a shrill scream, her features darkening, shadows in her veins writhing and pulsing violently.

The Nightmare King, nearby, took another step back before looking to Topher.
Instantly, a mass of black sand appeared in a swirling ball between his fingers, and was aimed to the boy.
"Don't make me do this, Enzo..."

"THEN DROWN IN LIGHT YOU SHALL!!!" The white, colorless energy I had been sending just turned an eerie green and purple as it gushed out of my eyes like a thick fog rushing toward him. As soon as I blinked, his fate was sealed.

Pitch panicked. The nightmare sand was dropped.

His pointed face contorted in sudden anguish as he lunged forward, pulling Daisy away from Topher. His own large hands instantly clamped around the boy's shoulders, shadows spreading from his fingertips.
Malice and pleading and evil shone on his expression.
The fearlings pouring from his own cloak began to twist toward Topher, to take him over. A last ditch effort.

To save time, he choked out a pained plea.

"Christopher! Boy! Help me! i do not wish to be alone again-!"

From confusion bores fear, unadulterated. My mind had gone blank from this sinister twist of frightened disarray, "Wh... what are you... doing?!"

Enzo: "LEAVE MIN GRANDSON ALONE!!!" I I try to turn my gaze toward the shady lord.

The Nightmare King's grip tightened, when Enzo shouted, digits digging tot he point of pain into Topher's shoulders.

He was now grinning, golden eyes flashing darkly.
The fearlings and dark creatures used the boy's fear to their advantage.
They were slowly blackening his soul, forcing their way into his body.

"Tut tut.... you're only feeding them, boy...!"

Howling.

That was the only word I could use to describe the sounds forcing itself from my lunges, just torture incarnate.

"STOP!!!!"

Already, Pitch could feel himself fading, his eyes turned determined, expression stony and grim as he gripped tighter to Topher's arms.

The fearlings were like ropes, tying tight about the boy, mercilessly.
The Nightmare King grimaced and hissed the words.

"Give up, Christopher! This fight is over, you're all mine!"

His body seemed to grow transparent. The light of the surrounding area seemed to be shining through him.
He didn't have much time left to complete his work, though he had no doubt he would be able to.

"ENOUGH!!" I rush forward in a desperate attempt to save my grandson, I try to throw myself to the fearlings to take his place.

The fearlings finished before Enzo could reach the Nightmare King.
They sunk into the form of the boy, vanishing into his body.

Pitch's hands let go, and he stumbled back, panting with the effort.
"too late, old man.."

Enzo: I fall before my grandson, on my knees looking into his newly-blackened eyes, "Christopher... please.... speak to me."

Topher: "There is no Christopher anymore..." I stare at Enzo and force the ground under him to collapse.

Ged, who had been stunned in the moment, ran to where the ground had collapsed. Fear was etched on his face.

"Enzo!"



Pitch, however, did not move further.
He stumbled back and leaned into the walls, shaking with sudden convulsions.
"See you... on the other... side.."
He gave a last echoing laugh before vanishing in the light, like a mere shadow.

Does Top follow?

(( Up to you. I was going to have him reappear in very bad shape, at Hogwarts. I think Cyn will run across him, but feel free to have someone come across him as well. ))

A crushing weight falls on my heart. My arrogant,... arrogant, cruel thoughts had lead to the destruction of my grandson!

I had one day planned to repair things with my daughter, but this would never happen now.

Ged reached a hand towards Enzo, a look of pure concern flashing over his scarred face.
"Enzo, you got rid of the dark being-... good god, old friend... Come, give me your hand, I'll help you out of that damned hole-"

I grab his hands and try to help him pull me up, "That doesn't matter at all..."
