Iris lounged down on the couch with a sigh, she threw her legs over the arm rest and stroked her guitar as it rested over the front of the couch. She hummed a tune by some muggle band and pulled absently at a thread attached tot he couches other arm. It slowly became longer and longer until it came to a halt and she pointlessly kept tugging. She eventually got bored of that activity and glanced around at the room with her stormy gray eyes.

She had been openly glaring at the girl, her violin in her hand, intending to practice but lacking the motivation to. 'Don't try and rip that couch to pieces, i actually like that threadbare old thing.'

ooc, Oh god my friend gave me all his songs and wow memories ugh i haven't heard some of these in yonks wow i love music music is good yes.

ic, She watcjhed the girl with empty eyes and very deliberately and slowly pulled the thread harder until it became nearly twice as long leaving a small tear in the sofa. Happy with the entertainment she turned back to plucking her guitar.

She smirked to herself, reverse psychology worked a charm, especially on other slytherins. 'I assume you play guitar.' she extended her fingers towards it, before realizing she still had her violin in her hands.

she knew the girl was being sarcastic, but she couldn't resist. She found a book and just about managed to transfigure it briefly into a cat (lul idk). It mewled and stared at Iris before reverting back to a book again. 'Interested enough yet?'
