So I am entering a big (in the UK) writing comp this year called 'Wicked Young Writers'
Its run by the theater in London that does the musical Wicked
Im really scared that what I am entering is going to be awful

But the winner gets published in a book, plus free tickets to see the musical and get to meet the actors...and £50 to spend on books.

but im still scared lol

Idk about you guys but my brain works really weird. It's like half of it is conscious to reality, but the other half takes all the mundane shit and turns it into an epic monologue in my head. Which I've come to realize is just basically the makings of a badass novel that's been in the process for nine years, but last night i made some incredible progress. Especially when i think about certain things i hate in books, like i really like knowing specifically what characters look like, a little bit of back history maybe not relevant to the story line though definitely relevant to who they are...  my novel is so gonna have character sheets with mini bios in the back lol.

That's a great idea, Amy!! I should do that with my book! (If I ever get to writing it, that is. xD )

The things I come across when reading
I read recently in a psychology book that most recorded serial killers could easily freehand drawing a perfect circle.
I have NO idea if this means anything but it is funny to think about

Seriously? Huh, I wonder what that entails. Maybe a high attention to detail? Forgive how morbid this will sound but I think it probably takes a great attention to detail to be able to commit several murders without capture

I like how you think about the reasons behind that and my first thought is 'But how did they all wor this out?'

Did these people just put paper in front of convicted serials and go 'draw me a circle'?

'Because we can waste our money looking at them!'

Not sure, but the idea is pretty fascinating and somewhat morbid.
It also oddly makes some sense.
Most average people can't freehand a perfect circle (not purposely insulting anyone's artvskills)
