The Orphanage

This is just an orphanage that Sam was put in when she was six years of age.  It's old, but it's not run down.  It's pretty small, complete with a cafeteria and rooms for the orphans.

Sylvester opened the door and nearly threw Sam inside of it, "there, now never run off again, got it?!"

I look more fearful than I ever have before.  I don't understand... I have never wandered off before...  I nod my head fearfully, rubbing my arm where he grabbed it.

"Why do you look so pitiful?" He relished each moment of her misery, feeding off of it in delight.

I look down, tears filling my eyes.  I don't say a word, but I think, Because I'm worthless... I'm a freak...  A worthless, hopeless freak...

"You're never going to get anywhere in life, just remember that!"

OOC Crest jumps in and saves her!

I nod, trying hard not to cry and sob in front of him.  

OOC    I feel terrible...  For this, and for the fact that I think I left my driver's permit in one of the hotel rooms in California... 

OOC Ouch really?

He starts to walk out, "I'll be back a little later, have a nice life." He shot at her sarcastically.

OOC  Yeah... Luckily it was only the temporary one, my permanent one will come in the mail.  But still, I don't know when that will be...     This has totally just made me depressed...

IC  I sit in the corner to my room, hugging my legs to myself and lying my head down on my knees, sobbing into them.

OOC  Sorry to hear,

But at least it's not anything too bad, your permanent one is what really matters

Also should I play the other kids here?

Sure!   I can do some as well.

I just looked it up, looks like it will come in 3-6 weeks of the day I got it... I don't know how long it's been, but that's still a long time... My dad wants to take me driving today, and I'm too scared to tell him it's most likely in one of the hotels in California...

One of the kids passes Sam, muttering to is friend, "Jeez, what's her problem?"

I would play a friendly kid but I have no place in this plot

OOC  I feel like such an idiot...

IC  The kid's friend mutters back, "No clue.  She's just a freak, probably wishing to be normal."

Sam:  I squeeze my legs even harder when I overhear the other's words.

"Let's just ignore her I guess..."

OOC You're no idiot! It's a simple mistake to make, hell I lose my wallet almost every other week

"Yeah... She's nothing to worry about." 

OOC  But still... My dad would probably get angry with me... He paid for me to get that permit..,.

OOC You'll get it soon, also Wrath want to jump in?

"Yeah... probably going to be here a while."

"I know... Who would want her?"

I don't want to if I'm just going to ruin things...

"I don't know..."

I just sit here for a long time, not moving at all, even though my legs are cramping.  I have no friends.  No family.  I'm hated by everyone.

"Leave her alone..." I murmur from a corner looking up from a book

The boy looked up at Aria, "What's it to you?"

He also looks up at Aria, "Why's it matter?  She's useless!"
