'Im not your enemy, idiot.' She spat, starting to feel the agony ebb slightly. It was a relief, even if it was only for a moment. Amaya knew She couldnt give up now..

"All of your worthless family is my enemy."

She snarled, feeling resolve settling in her system. 'Jealous because we have something you didn't, people who gave a shit growing up?'

Unlike my other laughs that were abrupt and uproarious, this laugh was cold and unhumorous.

"Jealous huh? That's what you take my hatred for you people as? Oh no no no no no... no... no Amaya. No the REAL reason I hate your family is a much different reason than jealousy. Jealousy doesn't even register with me."

"The real truth behind why I hate your pathetic kin is simple. All of you are like me, and with the right push you could've been where I stand now, choking the world by it's very throat. Watching in laughter as it struggled for those last few breathes before it's corrupt, DISEASED existence at last extinguished!"

"You all know the truth of the world. I KNOW YOU KNOW IT!!! The truth of the world is that there is no truth in the light, no scrap of honesty to be found. You all know this, but why not admit it?!"

"Both of us are the products of a system that turned a blind eye on us, cast out when we had done nothing 'wrong'. And while I seek their long overdue execution, you don't."

"What is it with you all?! Why won't you kick them all down and stomp on their faces until not even their mothers could recognize them?!"

"I know the whole song and dance of how people like us turn out. But you all... you all are an anomaly! A fallacy even, to all I was taught."

"While you trash exist, you put the validity of my master's words on the line and I cannot sleep comfortably knowing that."

The girl blinked, offering him a slow and searching gaze. 'Dont you see it Crouch? I will crush the world and put it out of its struggles, just not in the way you expect me to.' A smile crossed her lips, cocking her head to the side.

'Your assumption is wrong, My family is nothing like us, especially Meredia. The light has made them stronger, more united. Being constantly under threat has helped them be braver.'

She inhaled, finally admitting it. 'But for me it's weakening. I've never belonged somewhere which exposes me, isolates me.'

Yet darkness does not always equate to evil either.

"Why persist in a futile vendetta when you could join us and have your actions make a difference?"

'Because Im not letting Joachim down.' she answered simply.

"Then your power is wasted."

'i will become stronger in my own way, independently.' she declared, almost reluctant.

"That's a laugh.."

'Why? Why is it?' the challenge had appeared in her voice again, narrowing her eyes to small slits. 'all you would do is hurt me, and all my family can do is try to keep me civil.'

"It's woefully laughable because I would hurt you because you're useless and you family would be wasting their effort with you."

"You're nothing but a burden."

She struggled to her feet again, wiping the blood from her lips with her hand. 'I'm not... I'll prove it.' she spoke with determination, lifting her head up and showing him that his words didn't seem to affect her.

In truth, they didn't. She'd heard worse.

I roll my eyes, "I grow bored of you... AVADA KEDAVRA!"

She dived to the side, landing a punch to his gut before trying to put some distance between them. 'That's for Joachim, asshole.'

I lash out at her, aiming a scratch on her arm.

I hold myself back and aim a jet of fiendfyre in her direction.

She found enough strength in her panic to disapparate, wondering why she hadn't done it before.
