'Shut the fuck up!' she shouted at him, lifting her other leg to swiftly press into his solar plexus. 'You and your shitty ass Death Eaters as well as the aurors do that, not me.' Amaya announced, voice reverting to a hiss.

"Do they really? Or is it ALL. YOUR. FAULT?'

'HOW THE FUCK IS IT MY FAULT?' she found herself unable to suppress how loud she was being, glaring at him with a look that could only be described as pure hate and disdain.

"What has been the common factor between all of them? They all loved you! YOU force them to make the choices they make that end up leading to their deaths. YOU are what motivated them. YOU hold that blood."

'i dont force them to do anything! Unlike you, i give them free will. They know i can handle myself yet they feel they have to be the knight in plastic armour.'

"It doesn't change the fact they all NEED to protect you because you cannot defend yourself..."

'THEY DON'T! I'VE ALWAYS BEEN THE STRONGE ST IN MY FAMILY! I ALWAYS WILL BE!' her clone had tossed her wand, and Amaya cast the strongest crucio she could manage, funneling all of her hate into it.

I send my own crucio at her at the same moment, putting behind it all the hatred I have in my life, but in particular my hate of Bryn.

Her curse connects with me, and admittedly it is painfully, however continuous exposures to it in my childhood have developed an odd sort of immunity. I wasn't immune to the pain by any stretch, no human could be, but I could at least maintain rational thought.

She sank to her knees again, muscles contorting out of her control. Words swam in her mind, mocking her.

Although every fibre in her body cried for her to gasp, to beg for it to stop, the girl clamped her teeth into her bottom lip. She couldn't prevent the angry tears sliding down her cheeks.
Dammit.

Biting through the agony, I smile at her, "He was right..."

'Who was?' she managed to snap curtly, eyes flying open to fixate on him. He's smiling, that means he's going to try and kill me...

"Abonacci... and me." I point my wand right in her face, "Please send him my regards on your way to him."

She couldn't bite it back this time; a laugh escaped her paling lips. It was actually hysterical, delirious even. 'Go ahead, do it! I snapped his neck, whilst you could never lay a scratch on him. It was easier than stamping on a twig. It was also the best thing i've ever done.'

Amaya almost fell forward with her laughter, muscles beginning to hurt from all the confusion. Oh God, i've evaded death enough times,i honestly couldn't care anymore...

"See? I told you it's funny..."

"AVADA...-"

Oh wait, maybe I could. She staggered to the side before the second word could be uttered, noting her broken leg really needed to be mended if she wanted to stand a chance.

'That's not what I'm laughing at. I'm laughing at the fact you think I'm supposed to care. If I said I regretted murdering my own father, it'd be the biggest pile of bullshit i've ever spoken in my life.' With that she tried to back away, fishing for her wand.

"Come now. You and I both know you have more in common with me than anyone else. So do what I did! Give into that madness!!"

'I already have.' she added with another chuckle, still attempting to find her wand. 'But it's not you i have something in common with..'

The girl appeared frazzled, seeming to be at her wits end. I could never give in, not to you anyway. Amaya would find her own way; she protected her independence more than she valued her life.

I scowl at her and send another crucio, "SUBMIT!!"

'No!' she managed to growl, before the same blinding pain consumed her again. Her mind worked against her, telling her it'd be so easy to end the pain...

Why am I suffering for them?

Amaya then remembered Joachim, she'd promised him she'd try to change, and doing this wouldn't help either of them. She couldn't be selfish anymore.
'You know... i'm too volatile... for this.' she gasped, fists clenched.

"And what does that have to do with ANYTHING?" I increase the spell.

'I'm not giving in... because i don't want to chain myself, to anything but him.' she couldn't stop her cries of pain now, at this rate anyone would break.. Her nails were embedded so tightly into her palms that she was drawing blood.

Please, make it stop.

"Your resolve is shaking... I can see it in your eyes. It's such a feeling look to see an enemies resolve shatter and break inside them right up to the moment they can feel nothing anymore."

"Oh on that note, shall we proceed to the main event?"
