Hogsmead Village

My heart flutters as I enter a daze for a few long seconds. That was... God, that was... Bad... A huge weight of guilt drops on my shoulders. He has a wife... "Artemis, I... I'm so sorry...!"

"it's... It's... " I'm too distraught by everything that has been going on so I just disapparate.

I stand there for a moment, then fall to my knees, tears rolling down my face, almost wishing that Death Eater could've killed me...

Enzo was out to find this boy, one that could drastically aide his chances.

After all, one from his line could do much to tip the scales.

Cynder didn't often find herself outside of Hogwarts or her home. But Hogsmead was sometimes an exception.

She found herself almost wandering, looking off into space and smiling.

"Mm... what a pretty day.."

With my black trenchcoat swishing in the wind, I approach a girl who looked of good intent given the lack of a malicious cloud surrounding her.

"Girl, might thou stop to answer min questions?"

Cynder turned her head at the strange voice, the cooing of her dove whom had refused to stay behind at hogwarts mixing with the strange talk.

However, she understood it easily and gave a friendly smile, almost looking surprisingly into his eyes.

"Questions? Well, I'm not doing anything important~ Feel free to ask, sir~"

Bending over ever so slightly, I show her my eyes, the piercing blue and chaos symbol still present in them.

"I seek one who bare these eyes, same as min. Do you know such a man?"

(( I'm sorry, but the mental image I just got was like. One where someone looks at you from the bottoms of their eyes. With their chin tilted up. And a weird smirk on their face.

Also. Where there is fear there is Pitch. For a little, at least. I'm going to take artsy measures woo. ))


Another almost scared, panicked coo sounded from the dove on Cynder's shoulder, and it fluttered its wings, ducking behind her head to keep away from the man's stare.

Cynder, herself felt sudden fear grip her.
Her shadow seemed to twist behind her, the shape changing slightly. Pitch was lurking, feeding from the dark, scared emotion she put off.
His invisible, strong hand gripped her forearm, feeding the fear.
And indeed it was cold.

But she did not back down.
Her heart beat quietly, and she swallowed, thinking for a moment.

"Yes, I know one, though I do not know why you would look for him. Not many know him, and not many care to know him."

"My reasons shalt not concern the lesser populace."

I return to my original height, "But finding the boy is of importance to his kin. His Brotherhood he were born into by awakening the eyes."

Cynder was a patient girl.
But she did not wait or stay calm when it came to what she was. Descole had taught her not to be calm about that.


The pawprint on her chest gave off an eerie glow.

"I do not care who you are, or who you think you are, but I do not like the likes of you. I'm sorry. I cannot help further."

I notice the glow from the pawprint and look at her, "If thou art one of their kind, tho should be helpful to me. Shapeshifters I've always thought would be natural allies to min kin."

Cynder froze.
Her heart seemed to skip a beat and she straightened, eyes widening, slightly.

"You... know of the shapeshifters...?"

"But of course. I once beseech them for their assistance in getting the earth to realize it's true natural order, but unfortunately, they declined my offer."

"Tis a pity, they could be so much more."

Ged had... never told her about this...

Cynder's shock remained for a few moments before again melting away to anger.
No. Her kind would not have turned down an offer to bond with another species, unless it was because of twisted desires.


Her eyes narrowed again, a snarl breaking her lips.

"My kind has done the right thing, then. Natural order, my ass..!"

"Thou dare speak so disrespectifully before me?" I yell at her as though I was a god, chastising a mortal for blasphemy.

"Pitiful wench, before me, thou art dust in the wind!"

(( I've gotta head off. Pause? Thank you. ))

Cynder did not shrink away.
She did not wince, or cower.
Though her dove seemed terrified, it only fuelled her growing disdain for this man.


"I speak the truth of any! You are no different than a man. With those... eyes or not...! You are simply a man. Nothing more, nothing less. And if I were you, I would stay away from my friend... or you'll have three very angry being after your skin..!"

"And do humor me whom these three believe themselves to be?"

The glow from the pawprint became strong, a pure white light of anger, both just and cruel.

Cynder's eyes gleamed, and her voice seemed to echo that of two other beings.
Her soft voice collided with a guttural snarl and a pure whisper.

They all spoke the same thing.

"The Raptor, Justice and Cynder are creatures of wrath, justice, and forgiveness. However, we are protective, and we will not be afraid to do what we must for the sake of others."

OOC Ahh the raptor! I knew I was forgetting someone! Oh the nostalgia...

I scoff at her, "Thou art but a child with your gifts. Although I must admire thine ability to have two other forms at such a youthful age."

"I can see min efforts are wasted here. I shall go before one other, I have much I can accomplish before finding the boy."

With that, I disapparate but an echo of my eyes still seem to linger in the air.

And 'course I don't mind. c: I don't know how much longer I have before voice, but I'll hang about as long as I can. c: ))


Cynder was left with the anger of a burning sort.
The gleam in her chest and eyes faded, and she dipped her head, sending a prayer for forgiveness to the heavens.
A prayer for help and guidance, as well.


And with that, still quite troubled, Cynder turned about, off to find somewhere where she could think.
