A chuckle, Persephone's eyes seemed to glaze over for a moment before she smirked.

"Well, perhaps you've got an ally now... that potion you gave her, did more than jut confuse and crook her up. You've got a full fledged being again..."

"And that interest you... how exactly, may I ask?"

A chuckle.

"An ally to you is an ally to me. Though I doubt she would help me this mission.... I have no doubt she'll be of use to me later on. But for now, be sure not to allow plain rage... or justified rage. Good day.."

-Crazy Grin- "good day..."

-Good, I don't have to eliminate her. The Strayers can do that for me. And she might even be able to take out a few of them before going down.-

-Now the little matter of Cynder...-

A pause, and a nod, Persephone watched Crouch go before turning her attention to Artemis and Liria.

Well well, just in time, too.

She wrote down the rule, the hand signal...

-The tracking device was in place. I could find Persephone, and bring her down, I sneak through the swamp, trying to not so much as make a ripple in the water.-

OOC This isn't the end, I just felt like writing a battle.

Persephone exhaled slowly in her little hut.
Her shoes sat beside her on the little wooden bed, the mass of plush mattress and sheets hiding her thin form.
She was exhausted, staying up for her work.

She yawned and rolled to her side, her back facing the door, her clothed, pale body wrapped tightly with the large amounts of blankets. Her black hair sat in a frizzy mass around her head and face.

-I walk slowly through the swamp, stopping every time I made a ripple large enough for the eye to see. I knew she was here and this was her element. I'll have to take her by surprise to keep my children safe.-

What was that...?

The woman sat up, her black dress shifting on her shoulders as she gazed out the cool window noticed the waters becoming disturbed in a way unnatural to wind, too different for birds.

A scowl, the woman stood, straightening her hair, taking up her wand.
She remained silent, her eyes narrowing.

-Maybe it's time I took to the trees. With almost inhuman strength and agility, I climb up a stall tree and keep making my way to Persephone's signal.-

(( it's so weird to see Harry get his wand, knowing that I was in his same place and situation just about a week ago. ))

A small growl, Persephone slipped her shoes on, pacing to the doorway of her hut, glancing outside, looking about with a dark expression.

".... little creature, whoever lurks out there... you best show yourself, I'm not one for hide and seek.."

-Using the shadows to my advantage I cast a spell on the branch directly above Persephone to make it fall.-

The crack above her of the branch falling made Persephone jump, backtracking slightly, whipping her wand upwards and encasing the branch with a spell, throwing it into the swampy waters, catching fire.

"Rude, rude..."

-Should I try it? My father's spirit started teaching my Shadow Puppetry but I was still but a lowly greenhorn in it. But this is for my family. I need to do this.-

-I hold my wand like a puppet controller and wave the wand attaching magical strings onto my own shadow and have it slide down the tree trunk to try and attack Persephone from behind.-

Persephone's eyes had narrowed.

And from the corner of one, an unnatural shadow sliding down the tree.

A smug smirk crossed over Persephone's face as she encased her hands in blackness, a small shield of her own shadows surrounding her.

"Whoever is out there, I advise you come out. I'm not fond of children's games of hide-and-seek.."

-Undoubtably she knew my location by now...-

-I jump down in front of her.- "It's over Persephone..."

A curious raise of the brow, Persephone laughed casually and crossed her arms.

"Artemis Strayer. What business do you have here, boy..?"

"Bringing you down obviously. I should think that much was apparent." -I raise my wand to her.- "Surrender peacefully."

A laugh, Persephone shook her head lazily.

"Really are blunt, aren't you. Why are you so keen on arresting me, boy? What... possible urge sent you here, where you know you can be killed..?"

-I raise my wand and my shadow puppet raises from the ground, forming a dark creature that resembled my shape.-

"You know damn well why! To protect my family!"

Another chuckle, the woman brushed a hand through her frizzy, black hair, exhaling slowly.

"Protection? What protection do they need? Goodness, boy, you're making no sense at all."

-Come on dad, don't let your lesson's fail me, let me be skilled enough to use this ability to stop her.-

-I yell clearly annoyed and angry at her games.- "TO KEEP MY CHILDREN SAFE FROM YOU!!"

-I throw my arm forward and my shadow puppet charges forward.-

A the lunge, Persephone turned to the side, stepping from it's path smoothly, allowing it to charge into her home.

"Your children? Oh, that's right! Your twins, correct? They'll be due very, very soon... your wife could pop while you're out, you know.."

-I use my emotional training to control my rage and I command my shadow to contort in an almost inhumane way and the turned to facing Persephone and one of it's arms recedes into it's body and lengthens the other arm which it swings at Persephone like a sword.-

Persephone reacted quickly, raising an arm to protect her.

Her own shadow arts slightly protected her arm, but it didn't keep the shadow-puppet's arm-blade from slicing slightly into her arm with a sickening thunk, and a splatter of blood.

A slight grimace, she chuckled.

"And what will you do, Artemis, when you have to go to work and your poor, helpless, pathetic wife is left with newborns?"
