"I do. I trust him. He could've left with Grace but he stayed." Darcy smiles. "He made the right choice."

Oliver nods. "I would. Partly because Darcy would order me to and also because I'd want to warn you that they're coming."

"This isn't killing. It's ridding the world of a great evil."

Oliver nods. "You're my only friend. Of course I would."

Oliver hugs her back. "Thank you."

Darcy snorts. "Please. I don't intend on having children yet, maybe not ever."

Oliver feels confused. He's loyal to Darcy but now he has Sabine as a friend, he doesn't know what to do.

"Children would get in the way of my plans. I don't need a little one pulling at my sleeve every two seconds."

"He sounds like a fool, if you don't mind me saying," Darcy says bluntly.

Oliver frowns. "I doubt you will. This family's a unit; we all know what lines we can't cross. They wouldn't harm you."

Darcy applauds her quietly, not wanting to disturb his crew. "Congratulations."

"You'll be safe here," Oliver says, sounding sure of his words. "Darcy won't let any of them hurt you." He means both his own family and Sabine's.

He sits on his heels, unsure what to do. "Why would they want to hurt their own sibling?"

"Strange..."

I had to go in the middle of the fight -.- I've caught up with the events now though.

He knocks lightly on the door. "Sabine? It's Oliver." When he receives no reply, he walks in. When he reads the note, a pang of sadness goes through him, but a smile crosses his face when he sees her promise to return. "Good luck, Sabine."

The butler heads outside with a rubbish bag in each hand. He pushes open the door with his shoulder and gasps when he sees the girl on the steps. He quickly drops the bags down onto the grass before starting to pull her inside. "Master Darcy! Master Oliver! Quickly!"

Footsteps thunder overhead as the pair run downstairs, wands drawn. When they see Sabine, Darcy puts his away and crouches beside her, and Oliver looks shocked and pale.

"Hm. I don't think there's anything wrong with her." Darcy plucks a strand of hair coated in blood. "Take her up to her room and wait for her to wake. We'll talk to her then."

"As you wish, Sir." The butler bows and waves his wand to levitate Sabine.

Once she is safely placed in her bed, Darcy and the butler leave to let her rest. Oliver, however, pulls up a chair and sits beside her. What did she do? he thinks. Where did all the blood come from?

"Sabine, Sabine, shh," Oliver says in an attempt to comfort her. He takes her hands and holds them. "It's ok. It's not real."
