"She came to me. She turned up on the doorstep and offered help in destroying the Death Eaters. I remembered your letter though."

"Normally I don't have even that, Sabine. I just keep it all inside." Oliver looks sad for a brief moment.

-Sabine grinned warmly and sat next to him on the bed, eyes open and sincere-

You've got me now, you cant keep it bottled, it'll explode one day. It's like having a mine instead of a heart.

-Amaya nodded slowly- She just...turns up out of nowhere? either she wants to get into trouble or she's really stupid, and those terms don't apply to her.

Oliver smiles at her. "Thank you. Maybe that's why I've been so cold lately... I haven't had anyone to talk to."

Darcy shrugs. "I don't know Sabine like you do. I don't know whether she was telling the truth and if she wasn't, then I have no idea what motivated her to come here."

-Sabine continued smiling- You don't need to be cold anymore. -She gently put her arm around his shoulder in a small hug-

-Amaya's eyes lit up with certainty- Brynmor must've told her to come here. Don't worry, she does want to help you, i know she would.

Oliver leans into her hug, grateful for her presence.

"It depends. Do you trust her? At the moment I've only allowed her certain privilages because I'm not sure of her intentions."

-Sabine hummed a small tune, it was strange yet soothing at the same time.-

-Amaya spoke with conviction- I'd trust Sabine with my life, she's pure, she hasn't got bad intentions. You won't need to worry about her, she'll comply with anything if asked.

Oliver sighs and closes his eyes. It's one of the few times he's felt peaceful since Gloria died.

Darcy nods. "In that case, I'll allow her all of the benefits of living here."

-Sabine wrapped her other arm around him, still humming her melody, glad she could make someone content-

-Amaya smiled a little- Thank you, she's the best out of all of us. If you ever get your hands on Sydnay... -Amaya shivered- You restrain her straight away. Don't let her out of your sight.

"I'll put her in the deepest cell and I'll arrange for several guards to be placed there. If you think she's that bad, then I won't let her go." Darcy remembers his coffee and takes a sip. He makes a face; it's cold now, so he puts it down again.

"What do you think of me?" Oliver asks. "I'm curious. I don't know how I come across to other people."

-Amaya considered for a moment- She's not the worst prisoner you could have, i'm just warning you that she's much more dangerous than she seems. If that's even possible.

If she gets out, let her out. She causes more damage when she doesn't have space. I would know, i grew up with her.

-Sabine spoke honestly again- I think you're a nice boy put in some very tough decisions. You came accross very bitter when i first met you, but i see now you're just like me, you can't help the situations you're born into.

"I'll remember that," Darcy says. "This house is too valuable to be destroyed by one girl. And I need the people inside it."

Oliver stays quiet for a moment. "Thank you."

She's more than one girl. -Amaya smirked at her thought- I need the people in this house as well, don't worry. You've got one of my siblings here.

-Sabine smiled to herself- It's no problem Oliver. What do you think of me?

"She'll be free to come and go as she pleases now, since you promised she won't cause trouble." Darcy smiles pleasantly. "I don't want to make an enemy of you."

"You're a lovely girl. I think you must've been determined to convince me that you don't wish anyone here harm, and then to make me your friend."

-Amaya smiled at him, it wasn't her usual twisted smile, it had a degree of friendliness to it- She's the only sister i give a crap about now, i suppose she's safer here, i don't want her being used for leverage.

-Sabine nodded- I don't want to hurt anyone. If i did, i probably would've attacked you by now or something. -She stared into his eyes openly- but i could never do that.

Subject: Both Mon Jun 04, 2012 11:12 am

Darcy nods. "I'll keep her safe. Don't worry. If anything happens to break the spells on the house, I'll send her away with Oliver. I don't want him getting hurt. He's too young to come with us if we get followed."

Oliver looks back. "Why not? My family trapped you here, and I'm sat right in front of you not making a move against you. If you wanted, you could use me as a bargaining piece to make your escape."

Subject: Both Mon Jun 04, 2012 11:15 am

-Sabine shook her head- I couldn't do that, not to a friend. -She wanted to rest her head on his shoulder, but knew it wouldn't be appropriate-
Plus, if i escape, you'd be here alone again.

-Amaya raised her eyebrows- I wouldn't underestimate people younger than you, Sabine's much older than she should be. She's also really strong...

Oliver looks confused. "You've barely known me for 24 hours, and you already care that much?"

Darcy smiles. "Then with Oliver's intelligence and Sabine's strength, they could vanish. If something were to happen to the mansion, if I sent them away they could keep themselves hidden and protect themselves if the need arose."

I couldn't physically hurt anyone Oliver. I care about most people I meet y'know, i'm too nice for my own good. -She laughed- Perhaps i do care about you in particular.

-Amaya nodded- I hope that never has to happen though. Sure, Sabine needs the company, but i don't want her isolated from her family again.

"I would rather it didn't come to pass too. I need Oliver with me. He knew Gloria best and combined we know most of the spells she made."

-Sabine's smile became sad- I know, i grew up learning to not talk to anyone, to be suspicious of everything, but Bryn told me not to think like that, so i don't.

-Amaya raised her eyebrows- How old is this boy? he sounds too wise...

"He's fourteen. Gloria taught him and Grace from a very young age."

That's what I'm doing... -Sabine hesitated- I probably shouldn't tell you this, but i could've broken out as soon as i got here, people underestimate me because of my age.

-Amaya nodded- Same age as her then, it must be sad to be forced to learn so young. I was, and it wasn't the best.

"Really? How?" Oliver looks at her wide-eyed. "I thought Mother's enchantments were absolute."

"Yes. I doubt he and his sister ever got a chance to be proper children. But he seems to have come out of the other end alright."

-Amaya stared at him openly, her gaze intense and unrelenting- are you sure about that? how much do you really know about your own siblings? I know nothing about mine..

-Sabine chuckled- Nothing is for certain. If i damaged the house in some way, say i smashed a window... -She picked up the dresser with two hands, her face not even showing any exertion- then nothing could stop me climbing out of it I guess.

Oliver's eyes widen further. "Darcy wouldn't let you get away, Sabine. Before you got very far people would be after you."
