Luxia's Inn

A massive log cabin that lay in the intersection of many roads, it offered hospitality to many wandering adventurers. 

With the finest luxuries that money could afford and the warmth of a massive fire place in the center of it all, staying here was an experience few could forget or forgo.

Running this lucrative inn was Luxia, a mysteriously wise gentlemen with deep knowledge of the world and an inane desire to tend to his guests every need....

Good of a place as any to start.'
These were the thoughts that graced the young Entian's mind as she pushed through the doors into the trivial yet charming establishment. Cursing as she felt the door's edges crush the ends of her black wings within the frames. She made a mental note to seek out a
Mage to get the size of her wings reduced to a more suitable fit. Their largeness provided for excellent shields in battle yes, as well as provide more coverage from the harsh rays of the summer sun, but they were rather obnoxious otherwise. She could only wear steel boned leather bound corsets since fitting shirt holes for her wings would essentially render the shirt itself useless. They made making sharp turns in flying especially difficult.
She had to cast a temporary spell to make them suitable to fit in the door alone.

She would solve the problem soon enough. This is if suitable talent and help existed here.

She sweeped some of her shoulder length black and purple hair over her back as she strolled slowly through the interior. Browsing the inn, looking over the guests; none of them striking her as "important" or "useful". She needed information of this world that resided below hers. She approached one of the guests, firmly placing her gloved hand on the table.

"You. Do you know the owner of this place?" Her tone was demanding yet strangely curious.

The man, perhaps a merchant from the large sack he had next to him, looked at the woman and moved back a little bit by her intimidating behavior, "Aye, that's Luxia. I last saw him tending the tavern..." He pointed across the room to a bar area.

Various meads and ales lined the shelves all aged to perfection. But they weren't the only thing that was aged there.

Serving one of his patrons was a man of distinguished age and combed back gray hair and a gray moustache. He wore a set of spectacles that gleamed in the light and his eyes were far seeing, as though they were windows into his insightful mind. His attire was just on the fringe of nobility. He was as well maintained as the inn itself and he had a charming smile on his face, "can I get you anything else sir?" 

His voice was soft, easygoing and smooth. It was like he had honey lacing his words, explaining the ease in which guests came to talk to him.

His smooth, honeyed words were not enough for the steel souled Terrane. She leaned forward, her storm gray eyes piercing his welcoming expression.
"I have not been here. This is not like Lemures. I wish to learn about this land." She sounded not so much curious as she did demanding.

He sighed in despair and pushed his spectacles back up his nose, "Seems the rumors I've heard about manners being lost to your kind are true..."

"However I shall accommodate you. What would you like to know?"

"Everything." Terrane replied as she took a seat on the edge of the bar, rather than the chair that was there. "I have not lost any manners, whatever those might be. Stop speaking in tongues wish caster." For being a very literal race they were very acute to any other magical beings. No disguise in the world could hide a being from them

"I tend to my guests needs true..." The man kept his composure as he started washing a glass. "Now sit in the seat like a human and then I may indulge you..." His soft voice was at the risk of becoming irritated, however over the years he had learned patience.

She uttered a subtle growling noise, the tips fangs poking underneath her lip before she lowered herself into a chair. "Now tell me as you promised." Terrane said quickly

"There see?" He smiled gently, "a little civility never hurt anyone..."

"So now, as promised, I shall tell you of this land. This place is a combination of several. There's Cathmhaoil, Fryk, Alvion, Andawarudo, raylea, Atlus, Odaigra, kastanika, and the one that United all of them Helico Fennas..."

"Strange..." Terrane muttered in confused curiosity. "So this world is made of many worlds." She stared straight at him. "Who lives in this realms? I have seen strange people upon arriving..."

"You'll have to be far more specific. Granted many visit my inn but I can't promise I know everyone..."

She clenched her fist and an interesting question came up. "Where exactly are YOU from?"

"Oh I'm just a standard traveling gentleman, nomadic for most of my life..." He knew he couldn't lie, but his laws said nothing of half truths...

"Entia are inclined to distrust beings like you." Terrane replied. "Why are you here? Running a small business? What could you gain from this?"

"Why indeed?" He smirked knowingly with a light chuckle.

"No wonder I heard ill things about this world." Terrane remarked at him obviously being a smartass. "I am attempting politeness, why are you sticking around this place? I am guessing it serves little purpose for someone like you."

"Don't all creatures need hobbies?" He implored sincerely, "maintaining this place is merely mine."

"I've had no need for hobbies" Terrane replied before pausing and looking down thoughtfully. "Whatever those are.do you know any other beings of this world?" Terrane asked sincerely. For all of her ignorance and brashness, Terrane truly wanted to learn

"A fair couple. Any specifically?" He couldn't help but need the specificity. It came from his old line of work.

Terrane thought on it long before responding
"Tell me of the most memorable ones."

"Well, that is a tricky question."

He thought back, adjusting his spectacles, "let's see... There was a diarmidian whom I'm pretty sure was a general at one point, a royal girl from Helico, I'm certain I've had at least one traveler from Kastina, and a even a vampire and tailmouths at one time... Not together obviously."

"Would you consider me memorable?" Terrane asked, clearly not having the concept of what makes a person memorable or not. Or at least what would in his case

He considered the question, "I suppose so. Tis not often I meet one who sees me for me." He shrugged casually.

"I mean have you seen one like me before?" Terrane clarified stretching her black wings that she had shrunken down

"Only from literature, never from a personal encounter."
