Joachim's Inn

'I ain't the one who's gonna be giving the grief..' she admitted, shuffling awkwardly.

"Eh?" He looked at her confused by what she said.

'I'm cool with Krystal, she just isn't with me. Can't forgive me from leaving Tomas.' She spoke the facts, trying not to colour the truth. But hell, she felt uncomfortable saying it.

"Ahh... I see. Never met Tomas myself actually..."

'Quite a boring guy, actually. Be glad you didn't meet him.' She was being blunt to save herself thinking about the situation, tone flat and grating.

"That why you left him? He just didn't... 'do it' for ya?"

'I rushed into it without really thinking about what I was doing... I was still a kid, really.' She admitted more to herself than anything, giving his hand a squeeze. 'I've had time to grow up a tiny bit though.'

"Ahh I get ya... puppy love.."

'Ew.' She pulled a face at that comment. 'But yeah, I guess it could be called that. Either way, not ready for marriage, noooooo sir.' she wasn't opposed to the idea, it was just the idea of finality that terrified her.

'But ya know. I like to think I'm a different person now, not so reckless.' She didn't know if that was a bad or good thing.

"Well I still hope a BIT reckless, still want to keep things... fresh..." He looked at her all up and down as memories of their time together flooded back to him.

She raised a brow, a mischievous glint entering her eyes. 'Of course, you should know I can be as impulsive and as reckless as I want..'

She placed her lips beside his ear, whispering 'Besides, you better not have gotten all boring in the time I haven't been here.' Amaya nibbled on his ear before moving away, sniggering to herself.

"Me? Nah..." He grabbed her and shifted them onto the floor with him on top of her, pressing his lips to hers in a long dormant display of lust.

She threaded her fingers through his hair, whispering against his lips. 'I've missed ya - god damn have I missed ya but... Maybe not in the cellar. Bitch to clean in the morning.'

"Oh come on! I've been good for months! I can't wait a second longer...." He panted in desperation.

'Gonna have to.' She attempted to break away from him, sniggering to herself. 'Come on, upstairs now.'

"Ahh fine..." he stood up and brushed himself off before following her upstairs.

Glass, glass everywhere.

She shot up from her bed, eyes scanning the bedroom carefully, noting the sleeping form beside her with a worried smile. Cold air was blasting at her skin, staring at the cracks in the window. How had that broke? Amaya made the effort not to disturb Joachim as she took a step towards the window, peering through the plate-sized fracture in the glass to see if there was anything outside.

Her keen senses picked up on an odd sight one floor below, a set of yellow eyes that glared back at her through the darkness, like a wolf watching its prey fall into a false sense of security.

The moon was full and bright in the sky.

Wait - a full moon? The thought had barely occurred to her before her limbs began to groan and ache under stress, lengthening and hardening in places. A crunch filled the air, but Amaya couldn't identify where the ghastly noises were coming from. It was her, it was her bones becoming completely crushed and shattered under the strength of her transformation. She was losing herself, and those pair of yellow eyes were still looking at her, the world was spinning on its axis and she was falling, falling-

The cold sweat still ran down her shoulders as her eyes sprung open, shivering like she'd just been to the North Pole.

Just a dream, just a dream....

The boy awoke from his slumber upon feeling the bed rock a bit, more so than it had in the past few hours, "May..." He spoke groggily as his thoughts tried desperately to return to cohesiveness, "you a'ight?"

She just put an arm around his shoulders, her smile weak in the darkness. 'Just a bad dream, go back to sleep. ' she tried to settle down again.

"No need to tell me twice.." He rolls back onto his side and closes his eyes once again, he mutters as a last thought, "quick one before going to sleep again?"

Her laugh was loud in the darkness, knowing that Joachim didn't realise his idiocy wads actually quite comforting to her. 'Depends if you stay awake.' She nudged his ribs, still giggling to herself.

"I'll tell ya hat, you get started and if I'm still awake I'll participate..." He groggily proclaimed as he turned to face her.

'Go to sleep, you god damn fool.' She finally decided, snorting to herself and rolling over. 'Cheeky bastard.'

"Ohh well..." He yawned and fell back into a quick slumber.

Sighing to herself, she got up and stretched her limbs, before leaving him a note.

Going out.

It was all she said, unsure when she'd return. She couldn't sleep, so there was no use hanging around.
