St Mungos Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injurys

"Yeah and I'm worried for ya so look, I'm gonna get ya better somehow! Just some-fricken-how I am!"

She grabbed his wriss and pulled him to her. 'Value the time we have now. Dnt waste it. Please, Joachim. Forget you ever heard this...forget Im ill.'

"I ain't gonna forget." He squinted his eyes trying to keep control of himself, "I'm never going to. But I'm going to value every damn second we have too..."

'Thank you.' she says quietly, kissing him on the cheek. 'can...can we go home? Please?'

"Yeah... let's get out of here..." He picked her up, and starts walking out with her.

Sawyer steps up to him, "Hey need a hand boss?"

Joachim shook his head, in any other case he would say yes, but not this one. "Nah, I got it. We're heading back though come on!"

"Not on your life!" He kissed her forehead as they walked out...

It had been... 3 months? 4? it didn't really matter anyway; I still couldn't leave.

I could feel it, i could feel the sickness inside me. It bled through my veins and into my skin, it flared in every muscle i tried to move and every joint i tried to contort to my command. Essentially, I was out of commission.

Well, i ain't a good assassin after all.

'How ya feelin?' A deep voice crooned from the other side of the room. I didn't need vision to recognise the mocking tone that belong to Lukas. He was the one monster that had tailed me my entire life, and now he was reveling in my pain.

'It's funny, what silver does to a werewolf like you. You think you're all strong and mighty, then poof, you're bed bound in hospital. You're all so flimsy, even you. It's boring.'

'Leave me alone, would ya? I'm pretty sure i've lost everything now, including control of my own damn body. You're an asshole.' If i could i would've spat at him, but sadly the only state i was in was the one where i could toss insults.

'You'll be back up and walking soon, don't you worry. Sorry I had to put you out for a while.' The kitsune rolled his shoulders, smirking as he practically skipped out of my ward.

Damn, i was finally awake and now I was bored as hell.

Jack walks into the room, having heard his old friend was here from some source that I'm too lazy to think up.  Despite Jack's horrid luck with having friends and hating the world, he always wants to be there for the friends he does have.

'Who's there?' She called out into the room, anxiety knotting itself in her stomach. 'If you've come to kill me, then just leave me alone. I can't move anyway.'

"I'm not here to kill you..."  Jack steps closer, showing himself.

Immediately her scowl vanished, replaced with a grin. 'Jack! man, it's been ages.' She tried to sit herself up to greet her friend, but found she still couldn't comfortable move.

'What's been going on in your life?'

A sad smile comes on his face.  "Well, I nearly got my wife killed by trying to kill Crouch..."

She stared at him, eyes wide. 'Wait, how? did you send her into a trap or something?' She hadn't heard about any of Crouch's plans lately.

"I poisoned Crouch... And in return, Raven took Sally and they poisoned her so I would make the antidote..."

'That's what the Death Eaters are like. As soon as you try to screw them over, they've already got the ammunition to hurt you back....' She winced, trying to move her shoulders.

'How have the Death Eaters and that been? ruling the wizarding world yet?'

"Not quite.  The only Death Eaters I know of are Crouch, Death, and Raven. But what about you? What happened?"

ic 'I... i guess i was poisoned. Wolfsbane and silver is a bitch to try and cure when you're sick already y'know? I don't even know how long i've been here...'

"You know, my wife is a doctor with amazing healing abilities.  Perhaps she can try healing you?"

She raised one brow at him, simply  being unable to do anything else to show her interest. 'You think she can get the poison out of ma system? Nobody cares that i'm a werewolf here, that's why they haven't done anything about my condition.'

"My wife cares so much about everyone that she married me... Me, of all people. She'll do the best she can to heal you."

'hey, none of that talk here. You're a really swell guy Jack, honestly. You give people the time of day when other people usually spit on 'em. You and Sally are lucky to have each other.'

She resisted the urge to huff, thinking about her love life. 'I don't usually ask for help but i think i might need Sally's healing. Otherwise, i'm gonna be stuck here for the rest of my life.'

"And we don't want that...  I'll call her over.  Unless you'd rather just come to my place."

'I could come to yours, if you have some way of magically sending me there. I can barely move a damn muscle.' She grumbled, attempting to sit herself upright.

"I can very well do that...  The only thing I really ever enjoyed about wizardry was apparating."
