The Grounds

He started to feel an ache form all over his body. The longer he held the curse on the boy the more pain rushed through his body. "The fuck are you doing?" he asked, slightly panicking.

'Im not doing anything. Its all on you.'

The pain intensified drastically. "How the hell is it my fault?"

'Back away from me, stop caring about hurting me and ill expalin.'

He kept up the curse until the pain that he was going through became too much to bear. He dropped his wand and rested his hands on his thighs. He was struggling to catch his breath. "What the hell happened?"

Xander sat on the ground, his arm resting on his knee as he stared at the other boy. 'You just experienced what every person has if they feel any sort of emotion towards me. If you dont want it to happen again, id stick to the indifferent attadute towards me.'

"What kind of curse is that? I know my dark magic and that is something I've never seen before."

'It could be useful as a weapon. See if you can recruit him to the DE.'

'Interesting idea Ahriman. I'll try.'

'its a curse grandparetns use when they really hate who their family is. I dont know how it works, i dont know how to stop it.' He shrugs. 'Its rather annoying'

"Yeah. Really annoying. Well I'll make sure to warn my fellow Death Eaters about you. I'd hate to see them fight out and get their butts kicked."

'What are you doing Death? I thought you were trying to get him to join us, not piss him off at us.'

'Patience Ahriman, patience.'

'Hmm.....You can warn hem all you like, it propery wont make much difference in the long run.'

He smiled politely. "I'm their leader, they'll listen to me. Although it is a shame to see your curse force you to keep people at a distance. Must get lonely."

'Oh my god, I think I'm gonna barf. What is this!? This isn't negotiations, this is playing on his emotions and making you seem like a powder puff.' Ahriman paused. 'I can't tell if you sicken me or if you're a genius.'

'It's all part of the plan.'

Xanders eyes narrow- he doesnt trust the guy, and doupt his concernt...or anything about him, was actaully real. But he played along anyway. 'It does....sometimes. But its What i have to live with. So im used to it.'

He nodded his head in faux sympathy. "I guess so if you've lived with this your entire life." He seemed to pause and gather his thoughts.

'It ain't working amigo. Got a plan B?'

'Not really. You?'

'Gimme a sec.'

'Going to tell me why you want to know? Or what you are planning?' Xander smiled. 'I can stop you wasting time now. Im not going to become a pawn to use in this stupid war you and the good guys have.'

'Damn, he's good.'

"Okay, well then how about you agree to not join either side and use your curse against either of us when...war matters come up?"

'Clever come back.'

'Im not going to Use the curse for anything since i cannot control it. I do not care about anyone....so its all up to you and others not not care about me. If everyone leaves me alone, i will be happy.'

"I'll take that as a deal." He made a sweeping gesture with his arms toward the castle. "Be on your way then. Welcome to Hogwarts."

'You're just gonna let him go? Like that?'

'You heard what he said.'

Xander nodded at the boy, frowning slightly before starting to walk off

Ahh nothing like a comfortable place to study...


Taking his potions book out of his bag, Topher flipped through the pages casually. He readied himself to study for the upcoming exams and five minutes later...

the book was covering his eyes from the sun as he dozed off.

He had once again snuck onto the grounds of the magical school. He noticed a boy laying on the grass with a book covering his eyes. He approached the lad and spoke. "That doesn't look comfortable."

'Hush, Kevin, he's sleeping,' Joshua chided from behind him.

"Ahh.. it's actually more comfortable than you'd think..." Topher stretched out and removed the book from his face.

"But the book was on your face. How could you breathe?"

"Well I had it open.." He chuckled, "Here pop a squat! I need a break from studying!"

"I don't go to school here. I snuck on because I like this place." He sat down next to the stranger.

"Oh that's cool! You play cards at all?"
