mer, half of oxford has had to be shut off because of flooding- and most of the villages are under water too.

The whole south west is pretty much underwater, apart from my town because we're too far inland

is it bad im glad for the storms because my geography exam is 'record unusual weather patterns in your local region' and i'm pretty sure THIS IS UNUSUAL?

mothers watchig a programme and the first thing on it was 'is Britains  weather getting worse?'
ii was like 'NO COURSE ITS NOT. I MEAN, THE WHOLE COUNTY NORMALLY DISSAPEARDS UNDER WATER.'

but it's alright, since London's fine. It's not like all the resources go there in an emergency.

apparently cities get better help because there are more people there per square mile or something. its all very well but Oxord (last time i checked it was kinda a city) if flooded and they they have dnt nothing for the country side because 'its not worth the money'

haha, the whole south west is freaking countryside, know the feeling...

it's more monetary value actually, i was told. between Manchester and London (Manchester is more crowded), they'd choose London because it's an economic hub and apparantly we'd collapse if it flooded...

they build the city on both sides of the river.

...although i cant say the same down here... a lot of the flooded areas here are by piddly streams and stuff

we we have the problem that on one side of town, we have the river, which is a slow flood- it takes a day or two to flood completly and stays like that until the water moves on, but on the other side we have a river that flash floods and will flood as its raining-
so when we have lots of rain over lot of dayys....the only place that like, doesnt flood is my road.

but i cant. because my kayak is flooded in at the army base
