Amaya had reluctantly returned for the sake of her team, wondering why she'd tried out in the first place. It was just a distraction to her; it didn't mean anything.

Ignoring the stares from the slytherin team, Amaya just sat amongst them and waited.

Meredia however was sat in the stands, donning gryffindor colours and smiling with excitement.

Jinx knew she was early for the match but she didn't care, the crisp air was livening as she headed down to the pitch. She loved quidditch and this was the first time in a long time she was actually around for one of the matches.

'Jinx!' the girl was trailing behind her, smiling gently as she paced slowly towards the Hogwarts Grounds. 'You're here early too?'

'I've never seen a proper match before...' she murmured, peering around the stadium again. 'My old school never had a Quidditch team.' a sad smile crossed her face, stepping into the Slytherin stands.

Amaya threw her helmet over her head, beginning to strap her knee pads on. 'This is my first time being Keeper, guess I'll give it a shot.' she grinned mischeivously. 'I got a few tricks up my sleeve anyway...'

'Am i going to get hit by a bludger...?' Donia began pulling her hood over her head, tensing at the thought.

She started chuckling, pointing to her weapons belt in her locker. 'I'm going weaponless, they're heavy things..' Amaya was weighted enough with all the safety equipment she had to wear.

she paused for a moment "well.. I mean nothing is impossible.. but I highly highly doubt it.. at least in all the matches I've been to I've never seen anyone in the stands get hit."

'Someone could still be whacked with a bludger..' Amaya snorted, thinking. 'Nah, i've no reason to stab the chasers anyway, considering one of them is Mer's boyfriend.'

Donia seemed almost too relieved, but she nodded, taking a seat. 'Good...i'm not sure who to cheer for to be honest.' she snorted, Tide was her friend..?

"You know I don't normally cheer for a particular team.. I just cheer my head off.. it's like stress relieving just to get to yell and scream with every one.. although Chimmy is playing which might cause my cheers to be a little bias.."

'Possibly.' she laughed, thinking. 'I'm not sure whether to root for my friends or my house, perhaps i'll just scream for both, it sounds fun.' Donia had barely shouted since she'd got here, she could feel it building up in her system.

The Gryffindors finished up in the changing room and headed out to the pitch, stopping just before entering, waiting for Madame Hooch to introduce them.

"You ready for this?"

"Hell yeah! Let's kick some snake ass."

"Calm down, stay calm, don't get a big head."

Everyone was chattering around Tide, but he was only looking toward the stands, searching for Mer.

'Come on Chimmy! It's time to go!' Amaya was trying to drag him off his seat, huffing impatiently.

'I wouldn't follow this crowd anyway..' she smiled gently at Jinx, running a finger over her marked arms. 'I don't like anyone in this house apart from you and Artemis.' her eyes darted back to the game, it seemed it was about to start..

Mer exhaled, trying to summon power to channel into her eyes. Otherwise she'd be sat blind for the whole game.

So this is Tide huh? He doesn't look so tough, one bludger, BAM he's down and out.

But I don't think Maya would appreciate that.

With those thoughts aside, I just get on my broom ready to begin.
