"I trust it is important?" His tone suggested he would be sorely displeased if it wasn't worth his time.

"If you consider the concept of your servants working behind your back important." Maiya replied, enticing him to ask what

"Do elaborate..." The dark lord let the words hiss out of his mouth like a snake in the grass.

Maiya paced in front of him slowly
"Crouch freely acquired a proxy of his own without your knowledge or consent...a Hebrides vampire witch named Jenna."

This did indeed perk the dark wizard's interest, "And why pray tell would he do that? I trust he had an agenda..." Crouch wouldn't dare to betray him, but nonetheless Crouch wouldn't use someone else unless he somehow was unable to do it himself.

Maiya felt an uplift in leaking this kind of information. She was slowly crawling closer to her goal.
"I believe it was to compensate for a...temporary loss of power. So he could still give the illusion he had strength."
Because heaven and hell know he can't bear to be without power for any length if time

"Yes... my dear friend Crouch has always had a power addiction and an obsession with his appearance..."Voldemort's words lacked all forms of affection for his pupil. "Do you know how he lost his power?"

Maiya shook her head
"Unfortunately no. Though he did aquire something off the hybrid."

"Tell Lord Voldemort everything..." He urged, but the urgency didn't sound rushed. Like all his speech, it was slow, as though each sound had to hit the air at a stated time.

"A small charm that apparently protects against dark curses. And from what I know, moderate wizards are not that powerful to produce those kinds of items. The only other powerful group of spell casters are those without wands...Sorcerers. Which, might mean that one if the hybrids parents was a Sorcerer. Also if they have charms to protect against dark curses...it stands to reason they have other such items to protect against other magic as well." Maiya paced her words calmly, in a suave tone that could lead nearly anyone
"Access to such could prove beneficial to us...of course I'm speaking in hypotheticals my lord so I could be false..." Though her tone suggested otherwise

"An intriguing thought indeed... and Lord Voldemort rewards those who inform him." His tone was a hair short of actually grateful. "Therefore I bestow you the honor of trying to sway them to our cause after you have given my news to Hogwarts."

She bowed slightly, nodding her head. As she turned to leave she was sure to mention one other thing
"Sorcerers work...solitary. As far as I know they have no form of a government. This makes them not very...agreeable. Though they are people, like wizards..."

"Then that means they can be persuaded by the usual means... do what you feel is necessary to bring them to our cause..."

"You are now dismissed... go send word out to death and Crouch, they should be in the Death Eater Lounge for you..."

The manor was in darkness, but that didnt mean it was empty. I knew that well.  No it meant they were just hiding in there, ashamed, hoping nothing would happen, hoping no one else in the family would get caught...or killed.
I take a step into the grounds, take a breath, stedy the wand in my hand and start moving, carefully across the grass to the building.

The dark lord was gone and only by switching sides at the end did his family avoid persecution...

Did Draco feel guilt over his deeds and loyalties? Perhaps, but nothing his pride would allow him to show. 

He'd been home bound for many days, if not weeks. Nothing kept him in but his own self imposed exile..

I could see a figure inside the manor, and paused my movements. they wouldnt spot me, they wouldnt...

The pale Syltherin stared out the window, looking for nothing really special. He let the battle of hogwarts replay in his mind several times, especially crabbes (right?) rather painful departure..

I frown. I wouldnt be able to get in stelthily, so there was one thing i had to do. Wand pointing towards the window, i flinch as i blast the glass inside, before walking into the room. 'Move and i will kill you.' I say, before realising who it was 'No ofence, malfoy but i really will.'

"Who the bloody hell are you?!" He started to back up against the wall, not daring to stand yet.

'River seth. wrongly placed slytherin' I roll my eyes. 'Sister of crouch junior, all that rubish.'

"Whatever you do don't kill me!!" He pleaded, fearing she was out to get him for his past associations.

I drop my wand to my side. 'I wont...unless its in self defence, alright?'

"What.. What do you want then?"
