Outside of the manor was the last person on earth River needed to see just yet...

His smile gleamed in the darkness, just like his new shiny outfit. It looked like obsidian body armor a knight would wear but with a crest of the dark mark scratched onto the chest. A tattered black cloak draped over his shoulders.

He knew River had come here for something and he was intent on finding out what and why.

unaware of the danger that lay outside the door, i carried on walking towards it. kicking it open, i stop as i walk out, shivering slightly. It was cold, but...
'Hello?' I call out.

"Good day sibling. Did you have a nice chat at the Malfoys?" came a mockingly polite voice from the darkness.

'crouch' i freeze 'didnt realise you had taken up stalking...'

"Well I always keep tabs on interlopers who delayed me from getting to my master..."

'Voldemorts dead, crouch.' I say, almost sadly. 'hes gone. Cant you just stop? be my brother again. I dont want to fight.'

"His body may be gone... but he speaks through me. I am the prophet of his word now..." He had a crazed look in his eyes as he said this.

"Do not mock His Calling to me." He scowled but then smiled again as he gestured to himself, "Like the new robes, kind of Herpo the Foul meets Death Eater, don't you think?"

'Oh crouch...Im always going to mock anything to do with the dark lord. He was taken down by a teenager, after all.' I knew it was stupid to annoy him, but...i couldnt stop. It was better than shwing him how much it hurt.

Crouch's eye started to twitch, "How rude of you..."
