He leaned over and began scratching at the paper with the pencil. He concentrated on what he was doing, only looking up briefly every now and then. Before long the outline of a face was clear to see on the paper.

Sam watches with fascination, wanting to see the result.

The face started to take shape slowly. Cheek bones grew more pronounced, lips were formed, eyes were drawn. She was beautiful. Kevin smiled slightly as the face of the girl across from him took shape on the paper in his hands.

Sam's eyes widen with amazement. "That's amazing!!"

He looked up at her. "I'm not done yet." He went back to work, filling in the shading and some smaller details of the portrait. Once finished he handed it to her. "There, now I'm done."

Sam looks to her right, but doesn't see anyone. "I don't see them... But tell them I said hello!" Sam smiles, never judging anyone.
