The Leaky Cauldron

After Crouch leaves, Raven looks at Death with wide eyes, "I must admit, I'm really worried about him..."

"As one who's been diagnosed with a multiple personality disorder, I have to agree with you. Crouch wasn't the most mentally stable before, if he's seeing or hearing things from our fallen leader then I really must fear for him." He looked at her carefully. "When I first started hearing Ahriman I nearly went mad. Crouch," he paused, "Crouch, may indeed go mad without our guidance."

"I agree with you... But I guess we should play along for now..."

He nodded in agreement. "Contact me if you hear of anything that concerns you about him."

She nods, "Same to you."

He walked into the Leaky Cauldron hoping to find someone nice to talk to. It'd been a long time since he'd seen a friendly face.

Sam is at the Leaky Cauldron for whatever reason.  She's there by herself, her face looking the friendliest of everyone there.

IC He saw the pretty lady sitting all by herself and decided to go out on a limb and talk to her.

"She looks nice Kev, but be careful." Joshua warned quietly.

OOC Yeah, hard to find here these days. xD 

IC Sam takes a sip of her drink, thinking of her life.  A smile comes to her face.  Raven and Crouch may still be out there, but she doubts they'll try anything soon.  But then again, what does she know?  She's not that smart when it comes to the world.  She's learned much from Crest and his family and has yet to learn more.

"Hi," he muttered shyly. "Are you all alone?"

"We should sit with her Kevin!" Seventeen twirled around the table in a small dance and plopped herself down in a seat next to the stranger.

Sam looks up, shaken from her thoughts.  Being shy herself, her voice is pretty quiet as well.  "Yes..."

"Would you like some company?" he asked, feeling a bit bolder.

Seventeen tugged on Joshua's arm. "Come on Joshie, sit with me!"


Joshua gave her a look but sat down beside her anyways.

Sam has learned not to trust everyone... But that doesn't mean she has to be rude.  She feels like this guy is nice.  "Sure!" She gives him a shy, friendly smile.

He sat down across from her. He held out his hand "I'm Kevin. What's your name?"

Sam shakes his hand.  "Samantha... But you can call me Sam."

"You have a very nice face. I'd like to paint it sometime. I never see just nice faces anymore."

Joshua sighed as Kevin talked. "Kev..."

Sam's eyes widen in surprise.  No one has ever told her that before.  "Um, thanks!"  Then she smiles.  "You like to paint? Me too!"

He nodded enthusiastically. "You paint too! Can I see?"

"They both like to paint Joshie! Did you hear that? Maybe Kevin's finally found someone he has something in common with!"


Joshua nodded. "Kevin, don't forget to keep your wits about you. You don't know this lady."

Sam gets out her sketchbook and hands it to him.  "I carry it with me everywhere."  Most of the pictures are abstract and dark, but a few are oceans and forests.  Some are painted, others are either just sketches or in colored pencil.

His eyes went wide as he studied the beauty before him. "Wow..." he breathed. "Some of these are kind of scary, but some of them are nice. I like it." He gave her a smile. "I don't have any of my art with me. It's all back at my place."

"Thank you. Art is how I get all my depression out... I'd love to see yours sometime!"

"I mostly just draw portraits of people. I've sold a few for some money, but not a lot. I like to keep them."

"That's understandable.  I have yet to sell some of my art..."

"But it's so good! Have you tried to sell it?"
