The Leaky Cauldron

"Well, not laughed at..." He told him, thinking back to his days on the run, "The rest fits the bill.." He looked at him, showing off his brilliant blue eyes that had 5 black arrows jetting out of the pupil.

'interesting...'  was just his only response

"Yep..."

'What happened?'

It had been a while since Krystal had been to London. Not that it ever chaned, with the busy streets and annoying muggles. BUt she was here for a differetn reasn, one that concerned books of a magical nature.

Gerard has been wandering London for a while now, thinking about all the people he has met and all the damage he has caused.  He's burned down a restaurant and a whole town so far, making him feel horrible.  Gerard doesn't want to hurt anyone... But his power prevents that from being a reality.  

He walks into the Leaky Cauldron, sighing.

Her eyes take in everything and everyone in the room; London meant the ministry and the ministry  weren;t her biggest fans at the moment.
BUt no one was suspicious, and she slowly relaxed, although her eyes still scanned the pub every now and then as she drank her water.

Gerard is a pretty hard person to miss, given his spikey red and black hair and, more importantly, his vibrant, firey red eyes.  He scans for a place to sit, not seeing really any empty spots.

she ignores oucasts normally- they are safe, therefore irrelivent. But her eyes pause on this one, looking slightly lost, the only person stood in the room.
'Kid?' She calls. 'Want to sit down?' she nods to the chair opposite her

It takes Gerard a second to realize that the stranger was motioning to him.  Especially since she called him "kid".  He's twenty-one.  After a few moments of silent thinking, he takes a seat at her table, nodding.  "Thank you."

She shrugs, going back to her drink. 'No problem.'

Gerard sits in awkward silence, looking up at the ceiling, staring off into space.  It's been a little while since he's been able to space out and chill for a bit without any worries whatsoever.  He savors it, knowing moments like this never last long.

'Ill trade you.' Krystal rolls up her sleeves, showing the scars she had once been ashamed off, the ones from her parents and the one that had been inflicted only a few years ago from Crouch and his friends. She nods towards his hair, his eyes.

Gerard looks at her arms, raising a curious brow.  "What happened?"

'My parents like to use my siblings and I as knife sharpers. Oddly, I'm the only one left.' She points to the burn. 'That one was when the Death eaters found out I wasn;t exactly has loyal as they thought I was.' She apuses. 'You would be suprised how people avoid you when thy see that many scars on the surface.'

He gives her a look of empathy.  "I'm sorry that happened to you... But I do know how it feels to be avoided.  Frightened of, even."

'Poeple who are different.' She says queitly 'are the best type of person. because they have more in their heart than anyone else.'

"You got that right..." After a few moments of silence, he holds out his hands.  He's feeling pretty calm right now, otherwise he would avoid a hand shake at all costs.  He knows his hands always feel abnormally warm to others, though. "I'm Gerard."

She shakes it, smiling slightly. 'Krystal.'

"Nice to meet you... It's hard to find people who aren't taken aback by all the piercings and my eyes."

'Apperence isn't everything, and people seem to have forgotten that'.

"No doubt about that... "

'one peice of advise though. Never be shamed of standing out. Wear it proud, and then those that judge yo have nothing to complain about.'

"I've never been ashamed of my looks..." He smirks, but it turns sad, as if there was something else he isn't telling her, which there is.

'Well theses something you dont like. Whatever it is, dont let it own you.'
