Dead Character Lounge

"Whatever." He looked around him. It didn't look anything like he expected. It was cozier, more welcome. "Wish I could go back, but I can't. I'm stuck here."

Apperances didn't fool him. This place may look cozy and welcome, but it was a lion in sheeps clothing. This was Hell. Having to watch Mer from a distance, watching her grow old, live on, wishing nothing more than to be there with her. There was no worse torture.

ic 'Nothing's for certain.' Bryn considered this. 'Death might be the only inevitability, but it can be prevented, reversed, delayed.' since his time here, he'd had the ability to focus more, to put his mind to use.

'Bryn, you'll get his hopes up. We all know we're trapped here...'

"Sped up," he looked at Bryn, "you forgot that. Death can also be sped up."

He nodded, thinking of Ahriman. Sydnay turned away at this point, playing with a lock of her hair.

'I believe in the idea of fate, that we were supposed to die.. I knew i was.'

Tide shook his head, he still couldn't believe that there was a reason for his death. "I don't know my reason for dying yet, but I'm sure it wasn't for the sake of Mer."

Ahriman strode up to Sydnay. "Hola chica, como esta?"

'Dimitrov's here.' Sydnay said it like they were all at a house party, a longing look crossing her face when she spotted Mer again.

'I don't believe that either. Surely all of us being here isn't going to help her..' he frowned. 'This isn't right at all.'

"Then when do you think you were supposed to get here?" Tide asked of Bryn. "If not now, when?"

Ahriman peered over at Tide. "Oh yeah, Dimitrov. Hope he isn't hostile towards me still, even though I tried to kill him a few times. We're both dead anyways." He looked back at Syd. "So, how you been chica?"

'Remaining the same since i'm dead too.' she snorted, but there was sorrow on her face. 'My family's falling apart before my eyes.'

Bryn shrugged. 'Not long after now i guess, I don't think I was ever intended for a long and fruitful life, especially not with my illness.' His own expression seemed creased with sadness, reflecting Sydnay's. 'Then we've all died too early here, haven't we?'

"Why do the good die young?" Tide asked sarcastically.

Ahriman put an arm around Sydnay and hugged her. "It's okay Syd. Your family is tough as nails, they'll push through."

'We're tough together, but not when we're split apart. Mer's like a dandelion, one stir of the breeze and she just flakes away.' Sydnay shrugged, trying not to dwell on it. There wasn't anything she could do.

'No need for sarcasm, we're spending eternity here. And Mer's spending her life without us...'

"Hell yeah, that girl is so... so... weak. She can't handle anything." Ahriman laughed. "She isn't going to live long after this. He raised his voice and called to Tide. "Hey, your girlfriend's gonna be joining us soon. At least you don't have to wait long to see her again. Watch someone'll probably kill her within the week, with no one there to protect her."

Tide clenched his jaw to keep from attacking that son of a bitch, Ahriman.

Her palm crossed his face angrily, a rage not unlike the one she'd possessed while alive sparking back into existence.

'Don't you EVER talk about her like that again! I died for her!'

He was taken aback by her attitude. "I'm sorry? You never liked her before. Why the sudden change?"

'There was no sudden change Ahriman.' her tone was clipped, almost harsh. 'I've always loved my family, i just tried to deny it. I died protecting her, why else would i be at the battle?'

"Fighting on Crouch's side? Where you belong! You wouldn't be dead if you had."

'I don't care Ahriman, i loved them, i loved my family above all else. They saved me, so in return i protected them.'

He shrugged. "Alright, can't change your mind."

'No, you can't.' she folded her arms stubbornly, sticking out her bottom lip at him, but she'd softened slightly already.

He shook his head. "Alright, anythin' else you wanna tell me?"

'I'm not the blood-thirsty monster you thought I was.' she just put it out there, knowing he'd be walking away in a matter of seconds.

"So I found out." Just as Sydnay had suspected, he walked away, leaving the siblings and Tide alone.

'Well that wasn't totally predictable.' Sydnay shrugged, walking back over to her brother. He seemed distracted again, clearly processing something in his mind.

Nothing pained him more than seeing Meredia in pain. He wanted to reach out to her and take her in his arms. However, he was glad that Eugene and Artemis were comforting her in his place. At least she's not alone in this.

Bryn was practically fixated on Teddy and Kurdt.

Jealousy bubbled through every pore in his being, muttering many swear words under his breath as he watched the exchange. He couldn't explain it; if he was alive he probably would've shoved Kurdt away. It didn't help that Kurdt had actually strangled his boyfriend too.

'That son of a bitch doesn't deserve him...'

Sydnay gawked at her brother with wide eyes, she'd never seen him so prone to envy in his life... and death. They were supposed to be at peace now.

Something was clearly changing.

She cast her ever watchful eye back to the Death Eaters, ignoring Bryn's fit of rage. The girl cared little, she knew Bryn had been more chaotic than this.
I wonder what's going on? why has all this negativity surfaced out of nowhere?

An uproarious laughter comes from a silver haired boy in his early teens as he watches Crest's declaration to prank Artisan,

"I KNEW you still had it in you Crest!"
