'Did you just want to know defence?' she asked politely, meeting his gaze with a small smile.

'Ill learn whatever you want to teach me, Amaya.'

'You aren't exactly comfortable with them, so i don't want you to feel pressured.' she rested her forehead against his, expression still remaining gentle.

He lent forwards and kissed her. 'Ill get used to it. This is a part of your life, i know that, therefore, it is a part of mine.'

'I'll only teach you how to protect yourself, it's fine, really.' She met his mouth halfway, keeping it sweet. 'Sound like a plan?'

He smiles. 'Ok.'

She leant in closer, trailing a hand down his chest and carefully pushing his knife aside. 'So..what now?'

He put the knife down, and reached up, catching her hand. 'What do you want to do?'

She raised her eyebrows, before they knitted together in a neat frown. 'I... I haven't spent this much time alone with someone.' Amaya's fingers twitched, wishing she had access to her violin.

'We dont have to stay here if you dont want to.' He whispered, stroking the back of her hand. 'Whats wrong?'

'I need my violin, It helps me...unbottle my emotions.' she muttered, feeling her walls and wariness steadily rising.

He nods, stepping back. 'Stay here.' He said, before dissaperating. The violin he had taken to the Medow- it seemed like ages ago- he had kept. he just needed to get it.

She decided to begin cleaning up, anticipating his return.

He appeared right where he left, the violin in his hand. He silently held it out to her.

She accepted it, not startled by his return, before moving into a different room.

Sitting down, she let her bow scrape the strings, a smile immediately lighting her face.

He stood in the doorway, watching her silently. When he saw her smile, He smiled, glad he could do something that would make her happier.

She started playing a sweet melody, almost completely forgetting Tomas's presence until she gestured for him to sit down beside her. It was like the music wrapped around her in a coccoon, keeping her calm.

The tune was increasingly becoming darker, more sinister and ominous with the sweet melody still running through it. It was haunting, to say the least.

he opened his eyes and looked at amaya, carefully stroking his hand down her hair.

Her eyes had fastened shut in concentration, arm jerking with the tune, matching the erratic and disturbing tempo. She seemed to be a woman possessed, she had no power over what she was playing.
