He gave a thoughtful look, bouncing on the balls of his feet slightly, rolling his eyes to the ceiling and pursing his lips.

"Doesn't seem... enough. Rumors are mere fairytales, like the case with little bluebell the missing rabbit, who 'turned blue and vanished like a fairy'. What do you really want, Minister? I haven't got all day... I'll take a simple case, just to get my mind off of boredom....
But... whichever is.. highest... on your list, please... I'm not a child."

I sigh in annoyance, while his abilities and skills were invaluable beyond possible consideration, his attitude was hard to work with.

"Heres the truth. We need more people and you are one of our best, if not THE best. Whichever assignment you feel is better for you, do it."

A smirk, the black haired man lifted his chin slightly.

"I"m glad you finally accepted you needed help. It's written all over your face, really. But still."

He turned his piercing eyes to the Minister, the smile still spread on his lips.
"I've been looking for a little bit more of an.. underground case. Get Descole on it if you need someone to find a Strayer, he's a better hound."

A smile, the man gave a tilt of the head and turned toward the door.

"... and next time, text me. I was in the middle of something when I had to come here. Good evening."

Sherlock Holmes smiled neatly, glad to have his mind on a new case.

Sherlock Holmes paused at the door, hand on the knob.

He turned back to the Minister before he left.

"... and don't act like everything is fine, Minister. The lines in your forehead indicate that you've been scowling, and you seemed to tense a bit at mentioning Crest Strayer.
You want someone to go after him, because you know he's strong enough to kill you within a minute...
You're not just scared, Minister... you're terrified. Good day."

And he stepped from the room, ready to begin this... simple... case.

Under the cover of nightfall, I sneak inside the Ministry of Magic, incapacitating the guards silently but not killing them.

I can only hope Cayden had went home early.

She spotted the boy, but didn't react, only asking a question. 'What do you want now?'

I silently move past her to find the files.

"I've come for files on someone." I reply calmly as my wand leaves my hand. Just from the movement of my eyes, you could tell my mind was hard at work on how to get my wand back and get out without hurting anyone.

They've locked me out. I should've presumed as much.

"Why would you aide a fugitive?" Did Descole tell her the truth?

"Death Eater, Christine Regal."

'One minute' she darted inside and found the file with ease, it had recently been looked at. 'There's more than one copy Strayer.' she called out..
