St Mungos Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injurys

I open my eyes with a gasp, looking around wildly. 'Where...where am I?'

"Hey, I've got you. We're in St Mungos."

The Healer walked intothe room, looking at them both sadly. 'Sir, River needs our help again....you may want to leave the room.'
I stiffen, watching her warly from the safety of Deaths arms, knowing what she meant by help

"I'd like to stay with her if you don't mind."

The healer nodded. 'Ok. Just dont touch her while we do this.' 
I kissed death on the cheek before curing back up on the bed, shutting my eyes.

Four healers stood around the bed, their wands raised to the centre of the ceiling. slowly, a blue orb started growing untill it was big enough to surround the bed. the healers took a step backwards, lowering the orb and then making it shrink until it just surrounded River.
She moaned in pain, her fist tightening as the orb shrank further until it touched her.
Then she screamed, the same painful sound that was heard when she first came in. 
The orb kept shinking, turning her skin blue for a second before becoming smaller than her, disapearing in to her skin.
all healers but the first one left the room sliently as she looked between River and death. 'This will just get worse...are you sure you want us to keep going with this?'

It pained him to watch his wife be put through such pain. However, he knew that things would only get worse before they can get better. He nodded.

'no.' I whisper. 'I dont waant this...'

Crouch had felt oddly the past few days, as though something horrid had happen.,.. and he didn't cause it.

He entered the hospital and found hs way to River's room, "River, what are you doing in here?!"

My eyes close as my brother walks in and i turn away from him, not wanting him to see me like this- weak...dying. 'go away.'

"What happened to you?" He stepped inside and sat on the edge of the bed.

'Nothing happened....Im ill.'

ooc will be slow, mother is making me do the washing up.

"Well, what is it, it takes a lot to get you down like this."

"I merely ask for I wish to know if it's genetic... I can't have it affect me..." He gave as an excuse for his concern.

I snort. 'I dont know, and i wouldnt tell you even if i did. Maybe if you were going thrugh this...maybe you would gain a heart.'

"I wouldn't bet on it..."

'Thats why i said maybe.' I wince as my head starts to hurt, and rub it, closing my eyes.

He groans as he stays in the room, "What is it that's ailing you?"

'I told you. Im dying.'

"From what though?! What is it that's killing you?"

'I have...like, cancer, ok? Its destroying my magic, its destroying me. Happy now? you know its not going to get you oo.'

Two healers were stood outside the closed door of Rivers room, the murmurings from within covering up their whispered argument.
'I don't care what you think, you are a healer, deal with your anger and help that girl.' The woman, the one who had spoken and explained to death was staring furiously at the man.
'What if I don’t want to, Rosie? Why should we? don’t you even realise who has been visiting her? Two death eaters. Why should we help her?'
'Because she is ill, and what they are does not matter in here. All I see is a girl in pain and a man whose heart is slowly braking because he is helpless. That is why we should help her.'
'The world would be better off without her kind.' The male snarled, turning and walking away.
'Dont you dare walk-' Rosie started, but the sudden silence in the room next to her stopped her talking. Being a healer had given her a good lesson- silence was never good.
Rushing into the room, the first thing she was was River, unconscious on the bed. Checking her for external signs of damage, she got out her wand, already knowing, with a sinking feeling, what had happened.
This was going to be difficult...for everyone.
Waving her wand, she woke the girl up, stepping back to give her space.
Rivers eyes widened as she looked around the room.
