ooc, okeydokey ilz crouchy.

ic, Rhi has the kid and it's all fun and games apart from her screaming that occasionally gracefully pierced the ears of those around her. Jasper Fletcher Hawkeye came out in a mass of blood, guts and other pleasant things and looking like model materriiiaal. Rhi looked up at Jay with bloodshot eyes and a sweaty face, "Cut the damn cord." She tried not to yell at him but she wasn't in the best of spirits.

IC: He nods, but a Healer moves in before he can, and a second one pats his shoulder. Jay simply blinks and turns his gaze back to Rhi and Jasper, a look of awe and shock on his face.

She finally lets her breath out and opens her eyes to see them taking the screaming baby away to wash him. She smiles weakly at Jay, "Good job."

The ghost of a smile passes over his face. "Me? I wasn't the one on the bed, Rhi." He kisses her forehead, then leans his own against hers. "I'm so proud of you."

Her eyes fluttered and she felt worse than she'd ever felt before. She was exhausted and sore and she knew she looked atrocious. "That sucked." She laughed quietly.

The healers come back over carrying the baby who was covered in blankets. It moaned softly, seemingly on the edge of crying again.
