"I don't know!" He sat on the floor and crossed his arms and legs. "I'm not trying to piss you off, but it seems that everything I do, I do it to piss you off!" He frowned. "This fuckin sucks," he mumbled.

Ooc It's the contract. It's fucking with his emotions. He doesn't want to make Bryn mad, but because he made that deal with Lukas, he does stuff to piss Bryn off. Get it now?

Ic He pouted for a while. "I hate that thing." He looked pointedly at the contract near Bryn. "Can't I just rip it up and call it null and void?"

His eyes hardened. "Great, so you've been telling everyone about my contract with Lukas." He stood. "I'll bet they're laughing right now. 'Oh, look at Teddy the Mudblood, who was stupid enough to make a contract with Lukas.' I'll bet you all laugh behind my back."

He turned and began walking toward the door out of the common room.

He turned to face Bryn. "Like that makes it any better." He gestured around the room. "I don't even fucking belong here! I come from a long line of muggles, what gives me the right to be a wizard?" Tears were welling up in his eyes, he fought to blink them away, but they just kept building until they spilled silently over his cheeks.

'Magic is magic, no matter what your lineage is!' his own family's line was unclear, especially since Mer was only his half-sister, like it made any difference to him. Bryn pulled the boy into another firm hug, not letting him out of it.

He clung to Bryn as he silently cried. My life is going to hell and all I do is cry and cling to my boyfriend? Why is he still with me? All I've been is a massive douchebag to him recently.

"Bryn?" he asked, his voice cracking. "Why are you still with me even though I'm being a douche?"

'Do i really need to explain?' he smiled softly and warmly at the boy, there was no anger in his gaze at all. 'One, i know this isn't what you're really like. And two, i love you of course.' Bryn kissed the boy's hair, it still smelt like hair dye.

He just buried his head in Bryn's shoulder and sobbed some more.

When the worst was over he looked up at Bryn. "It's true, you know, I do." He kissed Bryn, but the kiss held nothing. It was just contact.
