'Even with my sisters, it was still lonely. They were all so different and striking in their own ways, the only thing that connected us was our blood relation.' he was admitting this to himself, a frown crossing his expression.

"Even that would've been better than just being by yourself, don't you agree?" He grabbed Bryn's hand and laced their fingers together.

'Being the only boy amongst a generation of 8...that was pretty lonely in itself.' he sighed and gave his hand a squeeze.

'I'm sorry, i shouldn't be complaining.'

He shrugged. "It's okay. It must've been just as lonely for you as it was for me. Just in different ways." He leaned over and kissed Bryn's cheek. "But that's okay, we've got each other now."

'you do...trust me, right Teddy?' he looked uncertain.

He nodded curtly, keeping his hand entwined with Teddy's, thinking. 'I guess you're right, i am a lot more stressed than i first seem.'

He smiled. "I told you so. The muscles don't lie, and you had knots galore. I'm sure you still do." He touched Bryn's shoulders and began gently kneading his muscles. "Yep, still got em."

'You don't have to do this Teddy, i know you've got your own problems to fret about, you don't need mine.' Bryn was willing to hold back his resolve, which was slowly crumbling the more they spoke to each other.

He moved so that he was kneeling behind Bryn and began massaging his shoulders more seriously now. "I've already vented about my problems. Now it's time for you to vent about yours."

It's okay Bryn, you trust him. 'I guess I'm just anxious about my family getting hurt in this upcoming war, what if i can't protect them again? not even Syd is safe on the DE side, and neither's Mer firmly on my side.' he sighed and shook his head.

'No matter what i do, my family will always be in threat.'

He shook his head. "I don't think that anybody wants to be part of war, they just are." He moved from his shoulders to massaging his back.

He had Teddy's contract between his fingertips, tilting his head to the side, considering it.

He walked into the common room. He had a cap on his head and when he saw Bryn he tried sneaking around him.

'Do I smell that bad?' he didn't look up from the parchment, feeling a vision attempting to break into his mind, but he didn't let it for now.

He froze and snapped his fingers when Bryn spoke. "No..." He slowly walked over to him. "I just didn't want you to... Nevermind." He adjusted his cap, making sure all his hair was covered.

He lifted the cap off Teddy's head with ease. 'Acting suspicious isn't helping you...'

As the cap came off Teddy tried desperately to cover his hair but the damage was obvious.

He had gotten a haircut, not that the cut looked bad, but what he had been trying to hide was the colour of his hair. He had dyed it a royal blue.

"Please put the hat back on."

'why did you dye your hair blue...?' he asked with no judgement in his tone, his face completely blank.

"I like the colour blue?" he tried. In reality, he had no idea why he dyed it blue. It was a kind of spur-the-moment thing.

Ooc I just wanted him to have blue hair ^.^

blue hair is ridiculous. i can say that because my blue streak went purple. Razz

and that went to red.
