Descole's Office (The Ministry of Magic, London- Creature control/Auror area )

Umm..... I got lost... I wouldn't come to see you in a million years.

A pause, Descole's hand stopped in mid-writing.

His eyes narrowed under his mask and he tilted his face up toward the girl, tensing even more then before.
He straightened and set his quill down, folding his hands together and staring blankly at Liria from inside the office-like area.

".... Well, if it isn't the Strayer's precious wife. Funny to see you here... alive.."

I smirk- I can take care of myself.......Hows your arm?

A smile, the man rolled the sleeve up on his arm and held it up for her to see.
Bare, though with a scar.

"Healed fine. I'm rather good at keeping myself in good shape."

He rolled his sleeves down again.

"What business do you have in the ministry..?"

My Father works here. -I say shortly-

"Oh, really...?"

Descole gave a soft, cruel, tainted laugh.

"Funny. He must be pretty low in ranks, then- I don't think I've ever met him."

He's Not an auror.......I just got lost on the way to his office.

A smirk, Descole turned his face to his work and picked his quill up again to resume his work.

"Ah, I figured not. Only the strong of wit and physical ability can become an auror..."

A chuckle, the man began to write in scribbled, neat and tiny handwriting.

"So, how did you manage to get to the Aurors' offices? Where does your father work..? I could... escort you there..."

I don't want you ecorting me ANYWHERE

"tut-tut, you never answered my question."

A pause, he flicked the current paper he was working on into a seperate pile and pulled over a new one, not even looking back up at Liria as he worked.

"And anyway- I don't bite. Not here, anyway. I have nothing but a bit of paperwork before I head out to track a death eater down and 'get rid of' him, so to say."

Yeah See.. How do I know you won't kidnap me or my Father so the Strayers are forced to hand over Cynder to you?

"Kidnap!?"

Descole looked up at Liria with a faked shock and let out a loud cascade of laughter.

"Hahaaah! Now really!? What kind of man do you believe me to be? If I wanted the girl, I would get her my own manners. Petty kidnap is not on my list of works."

Just saying...-shrugs-

A smirk, the man shook his head.

"Not on my list. And Anyway, I have nothing to gain from a frail and unattractive child as yourself.
If you need someone to walk you to your father's office, I'll do it. I know my fair way around the Ministry, it'll take only a few moments."

Give me ONE good reason to trust you.

"I'm an on-shift auror in the Ministry of magic... and I'm a man not really willing to lose his job."

He set his quill down and crossed his arms, again raising his face to the girl.

"And I promise you I won't do anything. Happy?"

No. Because your corrupt.

"... You are stubborn, I see. Fine, then. Enjoy wandering around. No one else will listen to you."

The man shrugged and looked down.

"And anyway, I'm off-business with Cynder. She's nothing, I won't be involved at Hogwarts or any of your lives. You're just a girl to me. Nothing more, nothing less. I have no reason not to show you to your father's office."

Stares at him for a full two minutes-

...............................Yeah I don't buy it.

Descole gave a bland look, as if frustrated at her refusal to believe him.

"Cayden doesn't trust me these days. I fall any lower on that scale and I'm out of a job- out of funding for my personal work. Believe me, I'm not keen on doing anything to you."

It's called hiring other people to do your work... Or make it look like you weren't involved.

A shrug, Descole chuckled.

"I'm fond of my work. Come on, stop being suck a stubborn little ass. Your father will be waiting."

The man slowly stood and blew out the candles in the office as he moved and locked the door behind him, standing a few feet from Liria.

"Well, the sooner we do, the sooner I don't have to deal with you, nor you me."

I just walk away from him-

The man scrunched up his face in a scowl and watched her before shaking his head.

"... i should meet her father sometime. Learn if he's aware of her cold grudge against Cynder.."


He smirked slightly and turned away, conjuring a glass and a bottle of wine and pouring himself some sweet alcohol.

"... Cheers, Liria.."

Lol THAT would be an interesting meeting.
