The Cemetery

His breath catches in his throat, but he's determined not to cry again. He did his crying when he saw them. Eagle nods once, then quietly walks to the back.

Next up was the heir of the family Noir. One of the benefits to descending from nobility was having the finest suits for these kind of occassions no matter how infrequently you wanted them.

"Hey guys, Top here. Look I ain't too good at this, but here it is."

"Syd, sorry I didn't know ya that well, but if my main man Eugh says ya cool, then ya good in my books."

"Bryn, god dammit man, now I can't set up that poker tournament I wanted." I chuckle at my own small joke, "I mean not wanting to lose money is one thing but this is kind of pushing it."

"Anyways, Bryn, ya awesome and I hope ya living it up upstairs."

A scruffy looking owl drops a short note on Sydnay's grave.

Everyone had gone, i had made sure of that before coming to say goodbye.
I stood over the grave of my friend, tearless. 'Oh, Bryn.' I whisper solfly. 'We both knew this would happen. I truied to stop it...i never wanted this.' I sigh, sitting at the edge. 'I am being broken in two. trying to help the people i care about...and trying to help the people i love. eitherway, you all end up dead. what am i suposed to do? everyone will end up hating me, no matter which side i choose. I wish...i wish everything could just go back to before, when you were here, a voice of reason. A time before fights, before hate...But its not going to happen. Goodbye, bryn. Please forgive me.'
I wave my wand over the grave, and a small, grey rose appears above it. as it touches the ground, the petels turn a deep shade of red, and the leaves turn darker green.
'I try, bryn, to be good, perfect. But i cant look the people i love any more. I wont loose another like you to a pointless war.'
I turn and walk away, dissaperating just beond the gates.

He walked through the cemetery holding a dozen flowers. It was snowing lightly but Teddy didn't care. He was too focused on his destination.

He knelt down in front of Bryn's final resting place and placed the flowers on his tombstone. "It's the new year Bryn. I can't believe it. I miss you. All the time."

"I'm glad the clown is dead..." says Crouch who was sitting atop a tombstone directly behind him, jumping off it with a crazy grin on his face.

He turned and looked at Crouch, horror clearly written all over his face. "How can you say such a thing?"

My grin grows ever wider and more pride-filled, "Easily, I'm the one who kiled him. I thought I'd come by to kick his grave a bit but I found you instead."

He clenched his fists and jaw. "Get out, right now," he said through gritted teeth. "This is a place for mourning, not mocking."

I approach the grave without any fear, "You did nothing to help him you know... you didn't even TRY."

OOC not my fault I wasnt on enough to do much with the battle until after the fact...

IC That struck a cord. Teddy's eyes began to water, his fists unclenched, he could feel himself detaching from reality. "I- I- didn't... I just.... I couldn't......."

"But do you know who ELSE didn't try?"

He dared whisper, "Who," even though he probably knew what Crouch was going to say.

"Her name is... Pixie..."

Hw blinked in surprise. He was expecting another jab at his boyfriend, not this. "Pixie? Why are you telling me this? Why would I care if she fought or not?"

My grin grows even wider, "Well you see, from where I was standing, which was pretty close, I saw Pixie had the perfect opportunity to save Bryn and the rest from death."

"But she didn't."

The river of lies flow so fluidly it was hard to tell fact from fiction.

Crouch's lie was delivered so smoothly that Teddy wanted to believe it, in fact, he almost did. The only that stopped him, was his brain. This guy is a liar. Who's to say that he isn't lying now?

He narrowed his eyes. "Prove it. How do I know you're not lying? You're not the most honest guy out there."

OOC I'm going to bed now. Pause?
