IC: Eagle barely suppresses a smile of triumph. He puts his wand back up his sleeve and inclines his head. "Thank you." Before Crest can change his mind, Eagle shuffles away, thumbnail between his teeth.

Just HOW did they find out about Headquarters? That is most disturbing...

IC: He strolls through the canyon, a determined look on his face. Gloria said somewhere here... Somewhere...

-I am checking on my test subjects and notice someone appraoching my laboratory! He looks like he is relatively healthy. Perhaps I can use him as a test subject!-

Mortem sighs in irriation. "This is ridiculous! Why would anyone come out here? ... But, then again... Gloria has never lied to me..."

-Time to wake up the tools...-

"Numbers 1-9, capture that man, alive and unharmed!"

-They all get up off of their table and start walking out, all are carbon copies of each other.-

OOC: Can you hear that? It's the sound of Phoenix's heart shattering.

IC: "Maybe I got it wrong." Mortem frowns. "It could be further down the canyon, I guess... or back the way I came... Ah, this is useless! What does Gloria want with them anyway? They won't help." Scowling, he starts to walk back the way he came.

-All 9 creations run forward and try to grab Mortem-

He yelps and stares at them, before slowly drawing his wand. "Aha! So I AM in the right place! Now, I doubt Gloria would want damaged goods... this will be more challenging than I thought."

Eight: "Put away your wand."

Nine: "Surrender to the Maker."

OOC Phoenix: -Crying- Why?!
Me: You're totally doing that on purpose

IC: "No and no. I only want one of you to come with me... or I guess I could talk to the Maker. That'd be helpful."

One: "We were told to take you with us." -I ask as I grab his shoulder.-
