I watch with a mixture of interest and apprehension. How do I act now? I might have a lot of spells Gloria created hidden up my sleeve, but I doubt they can stop a Chimera.

"Now, now... This is another dirty trick. I cannot transform into an animal, so how is this fair?"

Gloria made us study magical creatures. There's only one wizard that ever killed a Chimera, and with the disadvantage I'm at now... there's no way I can even get to my feet, let alone kill the damn thing.

I struggle weakly, but I know it won't do much good.
