"But I want to fight! It's what my mother wanted. I'm doing this for her. If Mother didn't arrange this, I would have left with my sister." His eyes widen as he realises what he said.

"I want to do it in memory of her," he says quietly, the passion behind his words gone as quickly as it appeared. "It's my duty... If I wasn't here to keep Darcy in check, he'd be much, much worse, Sabine. I saw him when he was training before. He's like a caged lion."

He looks down at the floor and thinks, And I'm the tamer.

"But where would I go, what would I do? I want the Death Eaters gone, so that's making me stay. I can't go to Hogwarts because if I see my brother I don't know how I'll react. I can't go and find Grace because I don't know where she is, and I doubt she'll want to see me after what I chose. I'm staying. I won't abandon my family."

The young boy shakes his head. "This is my place. Here. Both helping and restraining Darcy."

I never said it wasn't Oliver, i'm not telling you to abandon your family, i'm just saying there are other ways, you don't have to be sucked into this for the rest of your life.

"This won't be my whole life. Like I said, when this is over I'm going to go and do my own thing."

He shrugs and leans against the wall. "Whatever." Oliver looks away, studying the room. "You've come out quite well. This is a nice room. Well, most of them are, but this is better than the prison cells." He says it matter-of-factly.

"They're underground." He hesitates. "You'd have to ask Darcy to see one. I suppose he wouldn't mind as long as you had a guard or two, but I'm not sure."

"You could let the prisoners out," Oliver says, but he smiles as well. "It won't hurt. Darcy didn't say you couldn't leave the room, and you'll have an escort anyway."

He stands and opens the door. The guards look at him. "Sabine and I wish to go down to the prison cells. I'd like to take her on a tour. You two are to come with us."

They nod. "Of course, Master Oliver.

He leads her downstairs, and then he goes down the stairs further through a door that looks like an ordinary cupboard under the stairs. The guards follow behind.

"It's not the most pleasant of places," Oliver explains. "Mother kept all of her enemies down her until the day they died. Only one of them ever escaped while she was alive."

-She laughed- I've been in many prisons Oliver, i find the simplicity quite comforting, it's a family preference. I won't ask how they escaped... -Sabine looked around the room in amusement, she liked seeing new things-

IC: "She wasn't here when she escaped, otherwise Mother would've been able to stop her. They were at Hogwarts. I don't know the details." He shrugs.

He leads her from the main room down one of the corridors at random. There are a few bloodstains on the stone floor. Doors interrupt the walls at regular intervals.

He looks confused. "Who's Abonacci?"

"Of course." He continues walking. As they pass the first of the cells, pained groaning can be heard from some, screams in others, crazed mutterings in more of them.

"I don't come down here much, and when I do I tell myself that they betrayed my family." A loud bout of insane laughter cuts him off for the moment. "Which they have in some way, shape or form."
