Prince Mansion-

"Is the first line, 'Don't kill the messenger?"

Raven smirks.  "Just go.  Give it to him."

"...Alright fine, but.. I can't leave you here!"

"It's too late for me, and Archibald is too powerful for you to handle alone.  Go!"

"Sorry..." With a heavy heart and a reluctance abundant takes his wand and apparates out of there as Archibald walks over to Raven, "Whatever you're planning will fail..."

"In the mean time, why don't you be a good little slave and wash my boots?"

Raven, suddenly afraid, drops her wand and starts washing his boots.

Archibald watches her washing her boots, "So enjoying your new life?"

Raven spits on his boots, making sure that it looks gross, then wipes it, "W-why should I?"

"So your will still is intact after all? Will this may fix it..." He points his wand to her forehead, looking into her eyes to savor any pleading or fearful looks.

Raven gives a small glare, trying to hide the fear she has.  So, she spits in his face.

He slaps her in the face, "Let's see to it you never disrespect me again..."

He entered into her mind, changing her life as she sat helpless. Her synapses now felt crunched and restricted as he altered her memory, starting with the death of her parents. The fictitious blood was now on his hands, as well as her forced adoption and life of slavery to him. Each day of her life was filled with misery, minus the days she served him well. On those days he'd reward her with a bed to sleep on. 

These rewards were not out of kindness, but to make her believe she was valued by him and thus more liable to do as he commanded. However each day she failed him, he'd torture her for hours on end without reprieve. 

Once his mental reconstruction was perfected, he let his wand off her head, "Raven... master needs you..."

Raven is helplessly dazed as he changed and distorted her memories.  After hearing his words, she fearfully bows shakily on one knee.  "What do you need, Master?"

"Bring me out some wine... promptly..." His tone made it clear that tardiness would not be tolerated.

"Y-yes master!!"  Raven runs to get him some wine.  She brings it out in one of his favorite goblets as fast and carefully as she can.  Unfortunately for her, as she bows to give it to him, a tiny little drop splashes out.

Archibald takes up the goblet slowly, as though the small imperfection escaped his notice.

In truth he saw it as clearly as he saw raven. 

He splashes it on her face with malice,  "You clumsy clod..."

Raven gasps, falling to her knees, coughing up a bit of it.  "I'm sorry!  Please forgive me!!"  She cowers, bowing until her face is flat against the dirty floor.

"CRUCIO!!!" He yelled out at the top of his lungs as he kicked her in the side.

Raven screams out in pain.  You'd think she'd be used to years of this, but she's not.

After a long while he stops, "Try again Raven, and try to actually succeed this time...."

Raven nods, getting up and trying again.  This time not a single drop is spilled.

"Much better, if you clean the antic perfectly and you may have a chance at a bed tonight..."

Raven's eyes light up with hope, and she immediately starts cleaning the best that she can.

Archibald couldn't help but chuckle to himself, despair with a small sense of hope meant hopeless obedience... just the short he needed of Raven...

Raven cleans until not a spot could be seen, hoping that she can sleep in the bed instead of a cold floor tonight.

The door's blow off the hinges and Crouch steps inside with Topher, who dryly tells him, "You know, there WAS a doorknob on that..."
