Raven screams in surprise, her eyes widening with fear.

Crouch walks over to Raven, "Raven, come with us, it's time to be free again, maybe gut Archibald while we're at it..."

Raven looks extremely confused.  "W-who are you?!"

Crouch's rage grew by her lack of memory of him, "Oh for the love of the Dark Lord... he altered your mind didn't he?"

"Who?!"

"Archibald, my friend... here, it'll be easier..." He started to pull out his wand before Archibald stepped in and forced both boys to the wall.

"Cockroaches in my home..." He tsked as he looked to Raven, throwing her a knife. "GEt rid of them please..."

Raven's eyes widen.  He has asked her of many things, but not to bring death to people.  The knife shakes in her hands, and she just stands there.

"Well? They're not going to kill themselves!"

Crouch yelled to her, "Raven, remember me! I taught you all you know of magic, I gave you your life! Don't swallow the lies he's feeding you."

"What do you mean?  I've never seen you before now!"

"You have though! This man has blinded you with a slew of deceitful memories!" 

Topher couldn't help but marvel at the irony. An unrepentant liar scorning deception. Had their situation not been so dire, he'd comment on it.

Archibald was quick to fill the silence, "If you don't kill them, then I will and I promise I won't be quick about it."

Raven is beyond confused, and it clearly shows.  "But he... Killed my parents..."

"No he didn't! Your father killed your mother and then himself!! Turn the knife on him!! I beg of you and I'll tell you everything!"

He did just say he wanted to bust her out a few moments ago... Could there be anything worse than being Archibald's slave?  "How do I know that you're not lying?"

"You don't, but I'm..." Just then the dagger flew from Raven's hand, lodging itself into the throat of Crouch, silencing him for the time apart from gurgles of blood in an attempt to speak...

Raven screams.  She may not remember him, but he did seem familiar!

"Raven come on! I tried to save you once!! PLEASE remember!!! I'm sorry I didn't save you!!!" Topher yelled out to Raven as the knife poised itself in the air right between Topher's eyes, pulling back like an arrow about to be shot.

Raven doesn't completely remember them, but her gut is telling her that they're right.  Gathering up her courage, she punches Archibald straight in his gut before he can harm Topher.

The blade just barely nicks Topher's cheek as they're both let down from the wall, "Thanks!" Topher threw her Crouch's wand, "Here come on!"

Raven blinks, "I don't know magic!" But she has seen Archibald do magic...

"Sure you do! You know! Avada Kedavra, let the hate flow through you all of that!" He tried to remind her quick as he held off Archibald's slew of spells against him, but was having a lot of trouble.

Raven bites her lip, looking at the wand. Her sleeve slips up and she notices the Dark Mark on her arm. Her eyes widen. They have to be telling the truth. With a huge breath, Raven points the wand at Archibald, "Crucio!!"

Archibald stared at her in surprise as he apparated out of the way.

"Good job Ray, keep it up!" Topher encouraged as he started to cast bad luck on their foe.

Raven looks around. It may not have hit him, but it felt right. "Not scared of me now, are you Archibald?" The familiar smirk starts to come to Raven's face. Yes. Yes, this feels right.

A familiar, unsettling laugh fills the room as Crouch rises from the pool of blood around him, the wound on his neck closed, "Very well done Raven..."

"Thank you..." Raven still doesn't remember everything, but that rush of getting vengeance feels wonderful! She looks for Archibald, ready to torture him some more, and then kill him.
