Prince Mansion-

"How are you so sure?"  Raven looks up at him, looking much softer than usual.

"Well you didn't break the first time, yeah?"

"I guess not..."  Raven looks at the locks, debating whether to do it or not.  Three spells would only leave one more left before she's completely lost from herself.  But Topher does have a point.  After all that Raven has suffered through, she's stronger than she ever has been.

"You got this Ray! You handled it as a kid, just do it again!" Topher felt a surge of encouragement that he hoped was contagious.

Raven points her wand at one of them.  "Imperio!"

The skull rolled around in it's socket and faced away from Raven as a bright green light flooded the socket.

"Well, looks like that worked..."

She points it to another one, "Crucio!!"

The same action transpired with the skull below the first, only one remained.

Archibald was watching her from afar, soon she'd be weak and all his...

Raven feels as if parts of her personality... Her soul... Are being ripped away.  She doesn't feel as confident as she did mere seconds ago.  She's trying to keep herself, though.  Her arm starts to shake as she says the last.  "Avada kedavra..."

As the spell connects with the skull, the gate in front of them opened, lifting slowly into the main hall of a lavish mansion, the furnishings of royal worth and the art of ages hanging on the walls.

Raven falls to her knees, shivering, looking very frightened all of a sudden.  No.... I can't... Give him what he wants...!  

"You got this Ray, come on!" He helps her up, tugging his arm under hers to support her.

Raven can't even bring herself to speak.  All she's trying to do now is find herself.

Topher carries her into the next room, wherein Archibald stood before them at long last, "Good day... I trust my maze has kept you busy?"

Raven finally looks up, trying to glare at Archibald, but not succeeding.  She only has few free thoughts left.

"Ohhh... it appears my little maze has been hard on you. Don't worry, you'll have a life of servitude to rest..."

Topher put Raven down against a pillar, "Hey Ray, I know you like to fight your own fights, but I got this one..."

Raven lifts her wand to Archibald, but can't bring herself to say any curses.  He will pay for this....  Raven doesn't even argue when Topher puts her down.

Topher closes his eyes, readying his eyes to cast his innate curse at the dark wizard. He snaps them open glaring at Archibald, fuelled by his desire to make up for not helping Raven in the past. He would set things right at last!

'An evil eye user... interesting.' Archibald had studied such powers before but never fought against one who utilized it until this day. He knew that any endeavor he tried was doomed to failure at first, so he simply cast one curse intending for it to miss. Once Topher was running at him, he shot another crucio at him, knowing the effects would've worn off by this time. 

Topher yelled out in fierce agony as his very cellular structure exploded in pain. He never knew someone could counter his eyes like this.

Raven watches, wanting to help defeat Archibald desperately, but her will is slowly draining out of her.  It's torture.

Archibald stepped down on Topher's hand with his boot, pressing slowly down on it, "Child, you cannot win. I was defeating my foes long before you were born..."

Raven looks at Topher, subtly gesturing him over to her.

Topher army crawled over to Raven, "Please tell me you got an idea..." He whispered in a pained voice.

"You need to... Get out of here..."  Raven's voice is starting to get quiet and shy, "Get Crouch... He'll help if he can..."

Even in the midst of all the suffering Topher was going through, he couldn't help but reject the idea, "Umm Ray, don't take this wrong but if I wanted to die, I'd stick right here..."

Raven sticks a quickly written note in his hand.  "This will briefly explain what has happened to me..."
