Quidditch Pitch

-I don't look too surprised but still downtrodden.-

He was flying around, clearly distracted. He felt, no, he knew that he and Mer were drifting apart. They barely saw each other, and when they did, sure it was great, but something was missing.

He stopped flying and just hovered when he saw Mer in the stands. He smiled slightly, still troubled. Maybe I should break up with her. Perhaps that would be for the best? As soon as that thought ran through his mind he shook his head to clear his thoughts. He still loved her.

He flew over to her. "Hey babe." He landed next to her and sat down. "What'cha drawing?" He peered over at the paper with the scribbles.

no. no breaking up with Mer. D:

She immediately shuffled up beside him, her expression brightening. 'I don't know what I was drawing, i was just waiting for you...' Mer became slightly sheepish.

Ooc Sorry for the late reply. Once again, YouTube has taken me in it's clutch. Don't worry, he isn't gonna break up with her, he's just slightly depressed.

Ic He smiled half-heartedly. "Well I'm here now." He put his arm around her shoulder.

She placed a hand on his chest, tracing a small circle with her fingers. 'Why do you seem so upset...? what's wrong?' she inched even closer to him, concerned.

good. and its fine, i do that alot.

He shrugged. "We just seem so...distant. I hate that." He didn't look at her, he just stared out at the field.

i need to switch computers, the powerpack seems to have stopped working on the laptop D: ( = dead battery in minutes)

'Let's fix it then, shall we?' she grinned and leaned over, kissing him smoothly.

He responded by kissing her back. His hand reaching up to cup her face gently. "I love you," he whispered.

Ooc S'okay. I understand. My dad's laptop does the same thing.

i think i killed my laptop charger.

'I love you too baby, please don't forget it while we're apart.' Her arms latched around his neck, a place they hadn't been in a while, but it was still familiar nethertheless.

He shook his head. "I never do." That was a lie in and of itself. He hoped she didn't catch it. He kissed her just to make sure she had no doubt.

He had sunk low enough to lie to his girlfriend.

He sighed and rubbed his eyes with one of his hands. "I just- We've grown so apart it makes me question us." He put his head in his hand and closed his eyes.

He looked up at her, hating himself for bringing her to tears. "Well yeah. We barely see each other. We never talk, we never hang out. That's barely a friendship, let alone a relationship. Now don't get me wrong, I love you to death." He reached over and took her hand in his. "I always will Mer."

'But you still want to break up with me?' she pulled her hand away, folding her arms and placing her head on her knees, shaking with her sobs. no....

Ooc Yeah I know...

Ic He took her hand again and squeezed it gently. "No! God no! That's the last thing I wanna do." He moved so that he was kneeling in front of her. He wiped a tear from her face. "I just want to get back to where we were. Y'know, madly in love."

He leaned forward and gently touched his lips to hers. "I'm glad you still love me even though I'm being a killjoy right now."

He kissed her with an equal amount of love and passion. He pulled away. "I love you."

Ooc Bad timing, but I gtg.

'I love you too.' she repeated sincerely, just glad they had this moment.

He was sitting out on a bench. He heard an owl's wings and looked up as the owl approached him. It landed next to him and waited for him to take the letter.

He took it and stroked the bird softly before it flew off. He opened the letter and read the words written there. He sighed and folded the letter back up.

He knew this was coming. He was surprised at all. He wasn't upset either, that kind if shocked him. He stared off in the distance, not really seeing anything.
