An amused, almost flattered grin spread over Pitch's thin lips.

"Oh, so I am of importance to someone, at least... I see you've set up a side for me... but there must be a catch?"

"Only one thing."

"There is another being who is just coming into his superiority that sadly has fallen out of my reach but perhaps not thine."

Pitch let go of his hands and gathered some nightmare sand within his palm.
A suddenly bored looking expression crossed his face and his solar-eclipse eyes stared after Boniface from the tops of his eyes.

"Fallen from your reach...? I see. Where mortals fail, I will always be there. Tell me his name, and I will haunt his dreams... rat him out to you..."

"A wise choice, my friend. He is my grandson, Christopher Noir of One Point."

Christopher Noir.

Oh, yes, this would be fun....

Pitch's face twisted in cruel enjoyment.

"Call it a deal..."

Pitch lifted his chin again, contemplating if he should trust this man.
Oh, but he could. After all, no one could really kill fear. So what difference did it make if this man turned again him?


Pitch held out a grey-toned hand for Boniface.

"You are awfully trusting. I will make this deal with you, and i give you my word.. Crostopher Noir will have such... horrible nightmares...."

"But please friend..."

"Nothing devastating." My eyes seem to grow filled with concern, as a real grandparent would, "I don't wish him to experience any true trama, from what I know of him, he has been through enough of that. Just enough to get him into min reach."

Pitch pondered this last request, eyeing Boniface for a long moment. The expression of concern sickened the darker side of the Boogeyman, but the nagging, buried goodness ached.

"No promises, old man."
Pitch replied, coldly, after a moment, "I will only do what is necessary... But I will not hold back if he refuses."

"That is all I ask..."

The churning smile that crossed Pitch's face was one of thoughtfulness, and a faked friendliness.

"Then I will be off..."

He turned, giving quiet orders to the new Daisy, who replied with a blank stare before walking away from the two, where she would return to Hogwarts as if nothing happened.

Pitch, however, began to return to the shadows.
"Expect an outcome soon..."

A lovely day to steal, well then again, what day wasn't?

The lift was fairly easy, nothing too extravagant. Just calming an urge.

It was a small orb from a store. What it did I didn't know or care about, all I knew was I wanted to take it and I had.

Rowan was technically off-duty, but her auror side just didn't want to rest. When the mood took her, Rowan tended to do small scouting missions out into the typical haunts of crooks, just to be safe.

The only attempt she'd made at a disguise was to wear usual clothes instead of uniform. Acting almost interested in what Knockturn Alley had to offer, she glanced into the windows of shops as she strolled along, trying not to appear too revolted.

Just inside the shop where she was looking, I pocket another item, a sort of necklace. Maybe it can fetch a good price.

I walk out, certain I wasn't seen. Or so I thought.

Thieving. Small, but worth following up on.

Not wanting to make a scene, Rowan went and tapped Joachim on the shoulder. It wouldn't work in her favour if either of them caused trouble, since she wasn't protected by the Ministry at the moment - not at the level she was while working.

"Nice necklace you got there."

I turn to look at her with a mischievous smile, "What, you willin' to make an offer?"

"Of a kind." She quirked an eyebrow. "Return what you stole and I won't turn you in."

I burst into laughter, "Yeah, that's cute... bye.." I wave and begin to walk away.

She caught the neck of his shirt, smiling wryly. "Nice try, kiddo."

"what, a guy can't steal anymore?" I knock her hand aside and look back at her with a look of determined mischief.

"In case you hadn't noticed, it's kinda against the law." She folded her arms, but that was the only display she was willing to make. Anything more and they'd probably attract attention - and the crowd would probably back up Joachim.

Speaking the words my dad told me as a motto, I smirk at her, "The law is just a challenge to make the game fun..."
