Moriarty's Mansion

Out of all of his guests so far, Jim found himself enjoying Pitch's presence the most. There was just something about him that Jim found... entertaining. He made no attempt to hide his smirk at Pitch's words, and he glanced over at Crouch, raising a single eyebrow as he waited to see how he would react.

Even if he gained nothing else out of this evening, Jim was determined to get all the amusement he could out of it, and perhaps some sort of acquaintance with Pitch, if the Boogeyman was willing.

My grin grows as I rise to my feet, "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were insulting me. That's incredibly rude you know."

Grabs Crouch's shoulder-

"When you're an immortal god, you tend to not care over other people's feelings, dear.."
Pitch spoke in a condescending tone, smiling as if the sweetest man in the worlds.
"You learn to not give a single shit when dealing with people, especially mortals. Destroying whole galaxies does that to you, I'm afraid."


Now he turned his gaze to Mateo as he made his way to a seat.
"No need to look so panicked, honestly...."

Ignores him eyes on the person in black-

By this point, Jim was really having trouble suppressing his glee. He took a long draught of his tea to give him time to arrange his expression into a mildly amused one. Just because he was willing to offer a truce to Crouch didn't mean he wouldn't enjoy seeing him in these sorts of situations.

When he lowered his cup, Jim turned his gaze on Crouch and Mateo. "I've already told you about the 'no violence' rule, Crouch," he warned in a gentle tone.

"Why? I was not being violent. I was merely pointing out it's better to have manners around me. I remember a fellow who was rude to me once, may he rest in peace..."

Pitch raised a thin finger to his lips, biting on the tip in a way to hold back his laughter.

He could see the amusement in Mortiarty- he had a feeling he would get along well with this man.

"Oh, I do love how Death Eaters have a thought of complete and utter power, like they can kill fear itself. Oh, how precious..."

He pulled out an empty chair, nearest Jim, and sat.
"I'm merely pointing out your fears, child. If there's one thing I always know, it's a person's worst fear."

"I fear nothing, you cannot fear what you can overpower."

"Overpower the terror of if you lost your child? Your wife? Oh, Crouch... my dear, dear Bartemius... I'm afraid that is something you'll never overcome."

((Two things:
1 - Jim and Pitch are making me giggle, and part of it is probably because
2 - I need to go to sleep 'cause it's gone 3am. You guys carry on, night!))

"Hence why I don't believe in such attachments." The only person Jim felt some small bit of affection for was Richard, and he was the other half of the Consulting Criminal's mind. Richard was perfectly safe there.

Pitch clearly faltered.
His grin vanished, eyes narrowing.

"You're lucky I'm more respectful of our host, or I would run you through."

Mateo: nods to the person in black who nods in return and they both leave-

"Leaving so soon Mateo?"

I look at Pitch, "You would try, you'd fail, but you can try."

Yep. -walks out-

Nightmare Sand swirled over the Boogeyman's fingers, and he looked to Crouch with an unamused expression.
"Funny, your threat. Ruining minds is one of my favourite things to do... crippling fear is delicious. But you're already mad, aren't you?"


He stopped speaking on the matter and inhaled deeply.

"Such a shy fellow... tsk tsk tsk..."

"Whatever do you mean? I'm quite cheery!" I show him my bright, cruel smileonly a demon could match.

"Shy?"

Pitch gave a chortle, wrinkling his nose.

"You are an idiot. I mean mad as insane, not mad as in upset. Honestly, it's like dealing with an infant... must I explain everything?"

I pull out my wand at once, "The shy was for my friend who left you imbecile and insult me again and I SHALL destroy you... and I'll laugh doing it."

"Then Shy indeed."
The Nightmare man looked to his fingers in annoyance, wrinkling his nose and giving a hiss of uncaring.

"And I'll laugh when you proceed to fire into thin air. Put your stick away, boy."

Crouch: "I hold more power in my fingernail than you do in your whole body."

Joachim: I run out to find Mateo and the black cloaked one, "Hey! HEY!"
