Crouch Mansion

Crouch Mansion was the home of the pureblood family of Crouch. Located near a clearing in some woods and Hogsmeade, this decadent home has been in the family for generations. However the house seems to radiate coldness, perhaps it's just the fact that the house stands all by itself or the Blackwood that makes up the house. Either way, this house was Crouch Junior's and briefly River Seth Crouch's childhood home. However Crouch Junior always viewed the house as a prison and made frequent efforts to run away as a child.

We apparate to the outside of the woods. The mansion is just about visible though the trees. I walk ahead of my brother, into the trees, trying to remember anything.
I stop suddenly, turning back, half wanting to run. ‘Crouch. I don’t think I can do thing. I cant go in there…’

-I look my sister, right in her eyes, remembering the little girl who could make me laugh and smile so effortlessly. And now here we both were, reunited by a stolen truth that made both our lives hell-

Riv, yes you can. We both deserve this truth. And we WILL get it, but I need you there too or else neither of us are getting it...

I breath in, trying to block the fear i have for coming back here. i nod, slowly.
i smile, a bit strained. 'i'm just...i dont know, scared? i dont like the idea of going in there...'

-Small Crazy Grin- River, you don't need to fear. The most powerful in the Order barely hold a candle to me... our father will NOT hurt you while I'm here

' i know you wont let him. But what if we find out something we dont want to? or what if he tries to turn me against you? because he would try...'

-Didn't even consider that- That's a risk we'll have to take... but even if he turns you against me, HE will be the one to get hurt... more than hurt..

i nod, knowing that he was compleatly serious. 'lets go. i just want to get this over with...'

As we walks through the trees, up to the mantion, i get flashes of the life i had here. A little girl, laughing, running though the trees, calling he brother.
And then, a flash of the two of us, hiding up in a tree house, looking down to the ground talking.
I shake my head, out of the past and look around me. In the trees above our heads, the remains of the tree house we used.
A flash of anger burst though me, and I start to walk faster, forgetting my fear...

-Notices something wrong- Did you remember something, Riv?

-Looks up, notices tree house, chuckles- Our only sanctuary... well mine anyway... you at least had mother...

'Do you, do you hate me for having our mothers attention?'

How could I hate you Riv? You were the only family I did have... well still do...

i smile slightly. 'I dont want you to hate me. I dont hate you...I dont think i could. But crouch, you have to realise that she never really meant to ignore you. Even when we were younger, you could look after yourself. you proved that. But i couldnt....i needed you, and her, because i couldnt do anything...'

-looks at his sister with sad eyes- Please stop talking like your worthless, Riv! Your magic just took longer to develop... That's all. It happens on occasion.

-mutters to self- still no excuse for blowing me off for years after you left... Hell their towels meant more to them than I did...

'Theres nothing we can do about the past now, though. We cant change Who they are.. How they treated you. But what we can do is change now. Show them Who we are.'
i nodded to the house. 'And they are the ones who think i am worthless, not me. So lets go and show them how unworthless we both are.'

-Nods head- Right... -pulls out wand and aims at the door- ALOHAMORA!

The lock clicked, and I pushed the door open. Looking in, i paused. 'You go first.'

-Nods head, goes inside- It's clear right now. IF the past is any indication, he will be in his office...

i sigh quietly, half wanting to see our father, and half wanting him to not be in the house. Because i didnt evn know how i would react.
'Where first? you know this place better than i do...'

-Can see the heistation inside of River- Hey why don't we start slow... I'll take to our old room... we can see what we both remember. It might make the rest easier for us to accept...

I nod. 'Wait. its this way, isnt it?' i say pointing down a corridor.

-Surprised- Why yes actually...

i grin. 'Maybe this will be more interesting than we thought.'

-Finds a blank wall where the door used to be- Stand back Riv...

-points wand at the wall- Bombarda Maxim!

-Blows hole in the wall large enough for both of them to walk through-

I narrow my eyes, walking through. 'They blocked up the room? they hated us that much?'
