Crouch: "Oh don't I? I can just imagine poor little Arty, crying over his dead mom... the funeral was probably HILARIOUS!"

The Strayers: All of them give chase to the pair.

Pixie began to limp after them in earnest, still muttering under her breath.

Snarling, Phoenix hurled a leg-locker curse at him. "You don't know a thing about us!"

Anthony bristled. "We're a family now, that's what matters." Admittedly, they weren't a complete one, but the sentiment was there.

The strayers had managed to catch up at last and kept their wands on Crouch.

Crouch: "Was it something I said?" I ask mockingly.

Phoenix was quivering beside her father, but Anthony's hand on her shoulder kept her from doing anything stupid.

"Surely you should know better by now than to attack my family?" Anthony asked, genuinely curious. "The extraordinary young people that are in it have fought you off time and again."

"But not the youngEST one am I right?"

Anthony waved his hand. "Hazel has nothing to do with this."

"Oh but she does... you see, I've learnt that kids make up the next generation right? So why not make it one the Dark Lord approves of?"

Anthony gave him an incredulous look. "You were going to attempt to convert a child of the Order of the Phoenix? And here I heard all of these tales from my eldest, and you've proven me wrong. You're not smart."

"You don't know much about me do you?"

"Oh, believe me, I know. Phoenix and Pixie have warned us excessively."

"Well good to hear I've made an impression. Oh and on that note..."

Quickly I unstop a vial and throw it to the ground. This released a quick smog of red that if inhaled, would cause all their muscles to seem like they've vanished from their bodies.

OOC: You little shit.

IC:

Phoenix and Anthony immediately dropped. Anthony yelled out "What?!" while Phoenix actually shrieked in anger and desperation to get to Crouch and stop him.

Seeing the scene, Pixie doubled her pace, gritting her teeth against the stabs of pain.

All the Strayers except Artisan had dropped, for he reached into his bag and put on a mask that looked like a simple wooden mask but it purified the air for himself. He hadn't had the time to make more of them.

Crouch: "I do so LOVE a captive audience... stay there for me would you?" With that I run to where Hazel went, point my wand at throat to change my voice to sound like Karen, "It's okay Hazel, you can come back now."

OOC Muahahha!

Hazel didn't dare believe her own senses, not now. She carried on running, desperately trying to quell her sobs while she pointedly ignored the voice.

Pixie took in a deep breath and forced herself into a run. A pained cry escaped her, but she carried on anyway.

'Hey Pixie, jump on my back, it'd be faster!" the inventive boy called to his half sister.

Crouch continued his torments by keeping the voice, "It'll all be alright dear, we're just going to fix your face. Make it happy all the time..."

Pixie leaped onto his back with a grateful huff. "I swear to God, Arty, you're an angel."

"Mummy wouldn't say that!" she cried, running faster.

Artisan smirked at his sibling, "Yeah I know, hell I'm actually the guy above them!" I give chase still.

"But dear, your face is so wrong. It's so sad... I can make it constantly happy..."

OOC

"Yeah, sure, alright. Get goin', horsey." Pixie snorted.

"I'm fine the way it is!" Hazel yelled back.

Artisan made his way ever fast as the distinct snap of apparition was heard.

The smiling madman looked down at the child he had appeared in front of, "Boo..."

Pixie's eyes widened, and all humour dropped from her voice. "Artisan! You gotta tell me you got somethin' in that bag of yours!"

Hazel screeched bloody murder, and turned on her heel to dart away again, taking a zigzagging path.

Artisan: "I think I still got a garlic grenade in there!"

Crouch: I put on a hand on Hazel's shoulder as I catch up, "Too late child..."

"Use it, then!" Pixie snapped. "Jesus Christ, Arty, Hazel's in trouble, dumbass! I'd kick Crouch in the balls, but I kinda can't!"

Hazel screeched and began squirming, flailing her limbs in an effort to hit Crouch.

Artisan: "HOLD ON! DON'T RUSH PERFECTION!!" I reach into the bag and dig to get it, throwing the capsule at him.

Crouch: "Now let's fix that face..." I point my wand at her face, 'SECTUMSEPRA!" Just then the garlic hit and caused me to retreat from the foul smell.

OOC You can decide if the spell hits or not

OOC: I'd rather it didn't, Hazel's the one I tend to wrap up in bubble wrap

IC:

Hazel squealed and dropped to the ground, covering her head with her arms as the spell sailed over it.

Pixie breathed a sigh of relief, and directed her wand at Crouch. "I swear to God, if you ever put me on such a cliff-hanger again, I'm gonna hit you with my walking stick. Hazel, come over here!"

"Oh Pixie, you're so much less fun now. I remember back when you were out for Phoenix's blood. Ahh the nostalgia..."
