A frown, Descole turned his face down, actually unable to look the Dark Lord in the eyes now.

"Yes. You do. And I assume you would do much to have me dead, as well. After all, I did get rid of one of your more powerful death eaters years ago, even in the start of my power. You remember Desmund Dissaray, correct?"

-I think back a little, I lose many death eaters, but make no point to dwell on them.-

"Ah yes, that name does seem familiar..."

"Figures, you can't even remember your own Death Eaters. Just names on a plaque."

A chortle, the man shook his head.

"Well, whatever. As long as Crouch Jr. Stays away from me and my work and allows a truce with me while I station myself in Hogwarts, I'm glad with our trade.
But if not, I'll come and destroy all your men here and leave without another word."

A pause, he bowed again before turning away from the Dark Lord.

"Now, I have somewhere to be."

-His threat leaves me emotionally unfazed but losing so many Death Eaters would be disadvantageous to me.-

"Very well... go..."

He had begun walking almost immediately, smirking.

He called back to the serpent man, a smug tone in his voice.

"Don't think I'm on your side, though.... Good day."

And with that, he was gone with a pop.

Yeah, it was really interesting getting into the mindset of the only character here more evil than Crouch lol

It's very fun to get to talk with voldemort. I mean, he's not like the very quick acting villains. He's just. Calm and collected and very matter of fact. It was nice. c: ))

Yeah, he doesn't operate on reckless impulse like Crouch does. He's insane but he CONTROLS it, it doesn't control him!

I apparate into Malfoy Manor, brushing off my clothes and taking a deep breath. I got called here... So, taking a deep breath, I knock on the door to where The Dark Lord lurks.

-The dirty servant Wormtail opens the door and let's Raven inside.-

OOC Oh, Wormtail... xD I've always felt bad for him.

IC I walk inside and get down on one knee, bowing to the Dark Lord. "You have summoned me, my lord?"

"Yes Raven..."

-I speak with a dastardly combination of coldness and sleekness, like every word was rehearsed well in advance.-

"My dear friend Crouch Junior the IV has frequently praised you in his reports to me."

I try not to look surprised, but I do smile a little. I look at him from where I'm kneeling, waiting for him to go on.

"Lord Voldemort is merciful, and therefore shall overlook your one.. Oversight."

"But as I'm sure you are aware, many wizarding schools exist outside of Hogwarts. Durmstrang, Beaubatox, among others..."

I nod, "Thank you, my lord..." I look at him, listening to every word, nodding my answer to his question.

OOC I think I know where this is going!

"Well recently I have found the Head DE at Beaubatox to be quite incapable of fulfilling my wishes. I wish for you to eliminate him and see who is a better Head De there. If none exist, you can put yourself in charge."

I take a second to take in his words. My eyes widen, and my heart races. Not with fear... But with excitement. A big smile slowly comes to my face, and I bow down low. "I will not fail you, my lord... Your wishes shall be fulfilled.

I peeked through the window, watching Malfoy talking to his mother. I put my fingertips to the window, watching Narcissa as she put a hand on his shoulder. I turned my back on them and leant back against the cold window. I watched a cloud drift serenely across the sky for longer than I realised and when I turned back to look through the window the room was empty. I made an odd noise in my throat as it ached. I sniffed in the bitter cold air and tried not to long for my family. Going to see them would not help things at all.
