-I raise my eyebrow- Have you ever had experience to back up this claim? Because if you haven't... you never know until you try.

She finishes the glass and leans her head back against the wall. "I've told him it doesn't work like that, but I can try, sure. I apologise in advance for anything I do to him."

-Chuckles, understanding tone- Not to worry, I have faith in you and him. I'm sure everything will work out.

I'll talk you up to him if you wish...

"No, I don't need him coming after me for things another has said, if he wants me, he can have me. That's all I'm offering at the moment."

-Shrugs- Fair enough... I get you. Well I wish you two the best of luck anyway... -I finish my glass and examine the bottle- Just a bit left... you want the rest?

"No, I shouldn't, I've had enough in the past few days. You know what, Crouch.You're not bad. Forgive me, I believed all the stories students told me about you. They're not flattering. But you're great."

-Chuckles, smiles- Thank you very much. I can imagine the picture of me others must paint me as. To be honest with you, it's been quite a long time before I could reveal my true self to someone inside the Death Eaters, I have quite the repute to live up to you understand. All my other friends are always away on missions so it's near impossible to talk with other Death Eaters on the same level as I can with you and Jay.

There's nothing to forgive. -I finish the bottle-

"Yeah, let your heart out. Anything you need to get out of your system, I'm good with secrets."

Nothing at this time, but I'll take you up on that if there is anything. I do appreciate the interest though...

She shrugs, "I'm not good for much else so might as well."

-I put my hand on her shoulders- You're just starting out. I can envision you being a great Death Eater very soon... especially once I start teaching you the finer points of the Dark Arts...

She bites her lip awkwardly. "Yeah, um... I may or may not have told Jaq he could train me so..." She looks at him apologetically. "I have no doubt you'd be a brilliant teacher."

-The gull of that little spec of dust...-


-I smile- Thank you, and I must ask, what kind of curriculum has he or hasn't he taught you? You need not fear talking about him to me, I promise you full confidentiality

"Oh, uh... No he hasn't exactly told me what we're doing. We've had only one lesson so far, I-" Her voice broke at the end as she thought of that lesson.

-Eyebrow raised- Oh? And what was it you learnt during this?

She blinks wince-like and touches her mark through her sleeve. "How to kill using the resources around you."

So in so many words... how to kill like a muggle...

"No, it was useful." She says weakly.

You don't seem very confident in those words... why don't you tell me all about it?

"It's not Jaq, I know that's what you're thinking. He's great, I'll never think otherwise. I'm just not very strong..."

I'm not thinking anything at all currently. I just fear that his instruction, as he has not the experience or credentials of myself, might prove detrimental. I don't want anyone in the Death Eater ranks to receive a subpar education.

So please, tell me what happened...

She rolled her eyes. "Fine. He took me to the Room of Requirment so we wouldn't be interrupted. He brought in a blood traitor kid. A Rowle I think, and ordered me..." She cleared her throat and spoke a little stronger, "To kill him, using anything around me that I could. He took my wand away. Long story short, I killed the boy." She looks down. "Crouch, I'm not good around death. It's my weakness, you could say. I know, I should be better if I want to remain Death Eater, or I'll get myself killed. But the prospect just unnerves me."

-I nod my head- I understand, well I'll try to help you either get over your nerves or train you on how to be a Death Eater spy. Let me tell you, information is a weapon all too often ignored. Spies can make the difference between success and failure. I'll leave the choice to you which you'd rather pursue.

"I'm better at spying, keeping secrets, persuasion. I'm good with words. I can offer those services. But Jaq said it would be better if I trained how to defend myself as well."

Learning to fight is essential, I must agree with him there. And if you choose to be a spy, -smiles- I'll help you become the best one possible.
