Mountainous Estate

I dont bother replying, my jaw set tightly as I glower at him

"Oh come on, this won't be fun if you don't talk to me. Just think of it as an involuntary vacation."

Nothing.  But this time, I turn away from  Him, studying the walls like the hold the secrets to the universe.

"River, you know I don't like being ignored..." His rage was slowly igniting under his skin as he took her to a dungeon area. As one would expect it was dirty and obviously greatly used.

One cell even had a plate of bread on the ground just outside of arm's reach to the occupant of the cell as a cruel joke.

I narrow my eyes slightly, but bite my Tongue. I would not talk to him I would not.

He opened up the door to one of the cells, "Fear not, I'm not going to kill you." He promised genuinely, "I'm just going to strip away the coat of lies that my enemies have painted on you..."

I snort. 'Meladramatic' I mutter quietly as I walk in, turning and throwing myself down against the wall, closing my eyes.

"What can I say? I could be a writer part time if I ever wanted to purchase things legally..."

My eyes still shut, I start to hum to myself, loud enough that it was clear I was not going to say more to him.

"I'll let you get settled..." Crouch locked the cell door as he went to his library to attempt to find an angle to convert her to his side.

OOC I'm a bit rusty at this so bare with me.

I stand and pace the second he's gone, letting the pure fury out as I shook. There was no chance I would show him that side, but even the word fury was too tame for what I felt

"No, no... no..." Crouch muttered to himself as he poured through his books. His frustrations mounted at all the ineffectual ways that existed to bend his sister to his will.

Powerful though he was, River was every bit his equal. If a method wouldn't work on him, it would be futile to even try on River. 

It seemed as if an old, tried-and-true method of classic manipulation was in order. It was by far the most time consuming option but what other alternative did he have? 

Clearly much thought was in order, not to mention he had a empire to begin building on top of his obligations. Perhaps he needed to regroup his colleagues. Even the Dark Lord needed his contemporaries to fulfill his will as he couldn't be everywhere at once.

Hours passed, and I did not care. My anger had not faded, but I had stopped pacing. Now I was sat in the cetre of the cell, my legs crossed, my head tilted to the side as I waited for any noise that meant crouch was back.
He would not win this, I had already decided. No matter what he did, I  would not break and become like him

mind if i bring Lukas or Donia in?

((Donia would probably want to talk to Crouch, and Lukas to tease River a little...))

The Kitsune swaggered into the estate, cracking his knuckles as he called out. 'Ohhh River? Crouch?' He was interested in seeing the Crouch sister, but he knew he'd probably have to ask first. 

'How's the happy family?'

Crouch strolled down from his library and looked at the kitsune quite happily, "Ahh Lukas! How marvellous to see you again." He greeted in earnest pleasure.

'Indeed it is..' He murmured, scanning the area quickly with his honeyed eyes. 'I heard your sister was here, would you mind if i spoke to her?'

"You may, but just a warning, she's a little cranky..." He warned lightly.

He laughed softly. 'I can imagine she is, but she might listen to me. I doubt it, but she might consider my words, even a little bit.'
